Does cashing in comps for a meal on a non-gambling day affect your rating?

Hello:
My friend is very big on getting comps. He said that your comps are based on average play per day, so if he is not going to gamble a lot one day he doesn't go to his favorite casino because he doesn't want to get on their "radar." He was wondering, though, if using his comp dollars to pay for breakfast in their restaurant on a day he's not gambling count against his average? Does simply using the comp dollars register in the system somehow?

At CET it absolutely counts as a zero gaming day if you use a comp and don’t play. I would think it would work the same way at mlife etc.
At CET, using the Diamond Lounge, Spa facilities....where your card is swiped, generates a day.

 

Hunter the host from PVH (i'm paraphrasing) that any day a comp is extended counts. This would include using Reward Credits, a Diamond dinner voucher, etc.

On my last trip, I stayed at MGM Grand for two nights, and then used Express Comps at Gallagher's at NYNY on a night while I was still in town but not staying and playing at an MLife property, this was the first time I ever did that. My offers didn't change. It's impossible for me to tell whether they counted that day in my ADT or not.

 

Once that card hits your system, it becomes a gambling day. You can call it a no play day if you want, but the computer apparently does not care. You are onsite and now a gambler... even if a very low level one.

 

MLife uses trips and not days. It doesn't make a difference if you gamble 1 day of a 3 day trip or all 3 days assuming same hours and bets. It will be the same. They group a trip as a group of days without a 7 day span in between.
