Figures they do that AFTER I move lol

I doubt it changes every day SWA pricing but may increase the frequency of sale prices to Vegas which are NEVER offered

We will see what it brings. I'm between Dayton and Cincinnati and use to travel to CMH and IND to fly SW because it was always the most affordable with Nonstops. Now with Frontier at CVG, I've run across deals that are 100.00 less than what I use to drive 2 hours away to fly on.

When Frontier came to STL last year around this time, it's moved SWA fares basically nowhere in 12 months. Hope you have better luck. We just flew Frontier twice as a result last year.

About time some competition opened up.

With all the mergers it has really allowed the airlines to stand firm on their fares...at least for the legacies. I am disgusted with United's fares out of IAH right now. But I really don't have a choice for non-stop's. If I choose Delta or American then I have to connect.

Good luck with your fare hunting!

I just checked some dates for June-Aug with frontier out of CMH, quite a few options at $79-119 each way.
Less if you join the Den Club. Also, last 2 times I flew out of CVG with Frontier, it was only $45-$55 to add the works,
(fully refundable, checked and carry on baggage, priority seating, and stretch seating).
Hopefully SWA will get the message and lower prices.

That's disappointing to hear. Frontier is also adding direct flights from PIT and I was hoping to see some competition and price reductions for SWA. We have a companion pass through this year, but will definitely be looking at Frontier next year if they are still around.

We have been going on Spirit out of Cleveland...We do the big seats (which are the same as first class) and pay to check bags and our fare non stop Cleveland - Las Vegas in June for round trip are $250 less per ticket. This saves us $500 which more than pays for a 2 hour car ride to Cleveland. Southwest has not been low cost for quite some time... Look into Spirit, I know you pay for each thing but I know that going in ... so no big deal....but big savings...

I am going to look at Cincinnati and Cleveland when booking the flight. I live 15-20 minutes away from CMH, if I can save 100-150 round trip for one ticket, I will make the drive.

CMH was the same way. They are finishing up a three year remodel in March
