Hi folks, since my visit last June the rewards seem to be somewhat diluted and without having to trawl through all the rewards was wondering if anyone could advise me of the best solo rewards on myvegas.

I'm going again this June and have already purchased one comp room at MGM(got 4 comp rooms last year), I take it the 1 comp monorail trips are now gone?

Any help in using up my other 3 rewards would be greatly appreciated, I will have approx. 350K LP's to spend by June(really want the helicopter strip flight, but always sold out).

Thanks in advance for your input.

    Jimmy

people seem to enjoy the steakhouse rewards, such as Tender in Luxor. I don't know if or how much you can drink, but the whiskey tasting at Monte Carlo seems solid, and the Bar in Times Square $50 credit. I'll be using the Times Square one with my "square" brother who doesn't drink a lot. There is allegedly a "limited" food menu before the dueling starts, as well as bar top video poker. Will report back.

Thank you, I will definitely try the Times Square reward as I could easily drink the $50 worth if not more lol.

Just thought of another question about the "2 for 1" buffet rewards, might seem a bit obvious but does anyone know if this reward can be used by one person going to the buffet 2 different days as it doesn't say you need to stay at an MGM property like the Complimentary buffets do.

Or is it for 2 people at one buffet sitting?

No prob. I've done a few solo trips with MyVegas rewards. I usually pickup a Cirque du Soleil show ticket or two, some FreePlay, and a BOGO monorail 1 day reward. Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art can be good depending on what's currently showing. BOGO app or drink at Vice & Versa (Vdara) is also pretty good as it's a chill bar with plenty of seating.

Whisky tasting was great, only problem is it'll hardly put a dent in that large pile of loyalty points you've got. Steakhouse rewards are good...order anything u like and not feel too guilty about cost. Rice and company in Luxor is great for sushi and drinks.

I did the whisky tasting and agree on both points. Plus I think I tipped a $20. It's also a nice bar to drink in, so that adds to it.

Not sure if you have access to transportation, but I rent a car, and find the LP's most useful at the stations casino's. They offer MP's now, free buffets, and other misc things. Best thing is, you can use 2 rewards per day at Stations, versus the few MGM property rewards per trip. I was lucky enough to get the free helicopter reward, and will use it next month. I'll report back on the experience.

Thanks for all the replies guys, much appreciated.

Vegasvette, I don't have a car but have stayed at Palace Station and know where to go to get the free bus so could use a couple of rewards there.

Looking forward to your report on the helicopter trip around the strip next month as really want to do this.

I'm sure I will be able to use up all my points come June and will be trying other Station/off strip Casinos to top up my chip collection.
