of the MGM properties, I have my pick of any suite at Luxor or Excalibur, basic suites at MB, Delano, MC, Mirage and NYNY, or deluxe rooms at Bellagio and Aria.

Has anyone stayed in the big suites at Luxor or Excal? Are the nicest suites at Luxor or Excal better than any of the other options?

I like Luxor and Excalibur's casinos but don't care much for their food. Are their suites updated and worth staying in, or should I stick with my mid-level property suites which are anything from an Executive at MGM to a tower at Mirage? Basic rooms at the B or Aria are nice too but not my first choices for overall atmosphere.

I love my comp offers but they give me too many choices sometimes!!!! I like to change up hotels each stay.

I would narrow the options to Excal, Lux, Or Delano.

Personally, I would lean towards Delano. Real suites, and you can still walk over to your favored casinos, all indoors.

If you've got the option of staying in a one-bedroom tower at the Mirage, that's what I'd go for. I have stayed in a suite at the Luxor, and from the picture, it looks exactly the same as when we used to stay in them - probably 8 or 9 years ago. I don't believe they've been updated. The one bedroom tower suites at the Mirage are huge, and very nice. Plus you are on one of the highest floors and have dedicated elevators.

Mirage is our regular hotel, so yes, it's a tower suite we have there. While I love it, I want to try something new and grow tired of their food options quickly. We're going for a concert at the new arena which is south strip. Mirage is just too far from all that.

I was worried about Luxor being outdated... sucks because I like the pyramid. Excal is too smokey and feels dirty to me so I guess that narrows it down to some suite options at MB/Delano, executive suite at MGM or spa suite NYNY.

    No chance.

You could have 10k sqft but you're still at a flea bag hotel.

I usually stay at the MGM in a Grand Tower Suite. The only time I spend in my room is to sleep. I like the MGM casino. I am a blackjack player and I like Whiskey Down.

My second choice is Delano. I love the Delano because it is really peaceful and that is nice after a long day of gambling/drinking. I would always stay at the Delano but for whatever reason my comps are not as good there even though I am rated higher there and have lost more money at MB than anywhere else. I do prefer the MGM casino over MB.

If you like the casino at NYNY, I think you should stay at MGM so if you are losing there you can just walk over to NYNY.

You're right.. thanks for being so blunt about it haha. Those properties have such potential if they could get them updated.

I think I'll stick to MGM then. Executive suite isn't the nicest but it's new, clean and tons of options for everything else. Thanks all.
