Me, too. I love sleight of hand magic like that. About 8 years ago, my wife and I were in a bar and a sleight of hand illusionist came in for a drink. I think I bought him about 5 beers so he'd keep doing illusions for us.

    Thanks for posting -
First thing that stood out, to me ---
the guy's black pants, black shirt, with a black table top.
He ditched a couple cards in slitholes in the black felt.
And he added cards - not just for the current trick - but kept them
buried for a trick - further along in time.
Only once, did I see his "free" hand reach around to his back hip ---
as the camera focused in on the other hand displaying cards on the felt table.

But getting those cards into his hands was pretty amazing !

Yep, you could tell the black mat was a huge part of the act. Very good though. I really enjoyed it regardless.

WOW, and thanks for posting! That's totally amazing. We've all seen players occasionally use both hands, sometimes for quite a while without being reprimanded. And obviously, Shin Lim wouldn't require using both hands for long. I saved the video and advanced frame by frame and still can't see what's going on!

Many, many years ago, I worked with an amateur magician who would perform tricks when I could literally get as close as I wanted. I still couldn't figure out how he made stuff disappear, how cutting something in two was still in one piece, etc. It's a good thing I can't do stuff like that! LOL

I love watching sleight of hand magic, but I get super frustrated when I can't figure out what is happening. Actually all magic. There's always a moment when I think "Oh, I know what he's doing.. what? wait! CRAP!! What just happened?" :confused2:
