    I got:

    - A mandolin vegetable slicer. A good one, pro grade.

    - Some of you may remember my rant about the disappearance of the honey bees. So did my family. I got a bee tee shirt, the Bee Movie, and a jar of honey.

    - A fishing lure that says "Catch The Big One, Breeze" on it's side.

    - A fishing stool with an insulated pocket for beer and other pockets for different stuff, with "BREEZE" monogrammed on the front.

    - A six pack of Kirin Ichiban beer.

    - $25 gift certificates to WalMart and Lowe's.

    - A twin pack of Ferrero Rocher chocolates.

    - iPhone 6s Plus For Dummies.

    Somehow, I feel Canadian.

Rocky Mountain Vertex 950 hardtail bike
    PizzaQue propane-fired pizza oven
    PING Moonlite Sunday bag
A really cool Bear Flag Republic riding jersey
    Williams-Sonoma gift card
A renewed Fat Cork membership (given to both of us)
And a bunch of other great stuff

Plus we had a house full of people we love, with tasty food and drink, much laughter ... and we even got in some golf and wine tasting. Can't beat the get together part of it all.

That's cool on the mandolin, Breeze. My group entry was a mandolin and Balthazar cookbook, and of course it was selected by the one person in the family least likely to cook other than pre-packaged. lol My aunt orchestrated an after-the-fact trade for it.

Snow - and lots of it at my SLC home. This is shaping up to be a healthy precipitation Winter. If it continues, we'll see lakes Powell and Mead rise in the Spring.

Ha- I got a mandolin too!! We don't really do presents in my immediate family, but my husband and I decided to exchange gifts this year (we probably do it once every 3-5 years?) Couple of sweaters (in a heat wave! We set a record high on Christmas) Dual voltage curling brush for travel. He got a bunch of tools for working on his remote control planes, flannel boxers, a whiskey scratch & sniff book, some beer....

The plague. :wink2: Dan came home Thursday afternoon. I saw him walking up the front yard and he looked like he was dragging. He came inside and croaked "I have plague, going to bed." Bummer, but I thought I was going to make it through until this morning when the sore throat and cough appeared. Merry Christmas, honey!

I got to go for a motorcycle ride which is totally unheard of in Maine on Christmas day(unless of course you don't mind hypothermia)! Thank you Mother Nature!

To the newbie Mandolin users-Be very carefull or use a safety glove esp when trying a harder vegetable (Carrots)..The cuts are multiple and not as pleasant as a single knife cut.
    Just some pro advice..

We are not big gift givers in our family......husband and I truly don't need a thing! However, he did surprise me with this pendant. My daughter gave me a gift certificate for her to clean my house from top to bottom. (She gave me the same great gift last year. I have never seen my house so clean. She moves furniture, scrubs baseboards, dusts electrical cords, etc.). And the few usual gift cards...that are always nice.
