Next week I'm staying at Main Street station. No fitness center or pool. I like to work out every day. Any Ideas ?
Day 1 3 x (20 x Jumping Jacks/ 10 x walking lunge/ 15 x sit ups/ 10 x deep chair tricept dip w raised feet) with no rest in between exercises, take a minute after each time through. Go through 3 times Day 2 Walk the strip in a casino tour... yes... the whole thing Day 3 3 x (15 x Burpees/ 20 x squat/ minute plank/ 21 pushups [7 normal, 7 wide, 7 narrow]) with no rest in between exercises, take a minute after each time through. Go through 3 times Day 4 Early morning hike of some desert trail (perhaps even a run) Repeat until trip is over Enjoy!
We always take the quick walk over to 24 Hr Fitness. We are members, so it doesn't cost anything, but you could call and see if they have any visitor deals. It's a great gym, never crowded, lots of machines.
No problem: I am not a trainer... but I did stay at a holiday Inn Express last night ... (Couldn't resist)... Enjoy and have fun in Vegas! When are you going to be there?
Too bad. The Plaza has a fitness center with some weights and a small universal machine. El Cortez Cabana suites also has a fitness room. I think the D recently opened a fitness room. Unfortunately they are only for hotel guests. As others have mentioned, there is a 24 hr fitness center located about 5 minutes away from MSS. I've never been there though, too busy to worry about exercising because I walk so much and on the go when I'm in vegas.
People buy those furniture moving sliders for full body workouts - Google it. Take a jump rope - try double unders! Squats Planks Push Ups and of course someone else said it - Burpees! Have fun!
I'm here now , day one down. Had Lamperts ice cream ( just one scoop ) for the first time . You can use your points there. Thats dangerous.
Careful that you don't get a big tumtum now eating icecream. It would just be terrible if you had to go to the gym and do some heavy squats.Never mind deadlifts, benchpress, shoulder press etc. That's why gyms came about, enjoy Vegas whilst your there and train hard when you get home.l'm assuming that you obviously are a person who can and would do such by your post.Works for me,two week stays.Yes it is hard, but when in Vegas.
actually on long trips I usually bring along a rubber strap that you get from sports stores. Standing on it I can do curls, shoulder presses, arm raises and squats. Attach it to a door I can work on my chest, triceps and lats. You can do push ups and sit ups by yourself. My cardio is walking all over the creation.
Take a cab around 10 PM down to N Las Vegas BL & E Carey Ave. When they drop you off, run back to Fremont Street.
