Weight loss contest sign up and rules

Please indicate here that you want to enter this contest. Entry fee is $20. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize. This thread will be where you will post your first and last pictures of your scale with a catchphrase I will provide. Ideally you will post your progress weekly.( No need to add a pic for these weekly updates.) Contest will start January 4th and end March 7th. Hopefully many of us will have lost a good amount of weight in those two months! We will decide later exactly how to handle the entry fee. Please- this thread is for names and weights only. I would like to enter this contest, predicated on the rules being acceptable. I'd be leery of participants with late join dates and few posts before this contest was announced, say.

Paypal works well for me, being from outside the US.

 

Fair enough: 50 posts minimum to join.

 

Entry fee has been lowered to $20. The big prize for this is health, not money!

i will join the challenge. Lost 25 pounds before my trip in October, but have not been motivated since being back. Will be so ready after the holidays.

bump for one more week before we hunker down! There will be some leeway about the dates you post your starting weight since this will be a two month long contest. I will PM contestants with the phrase to use on the picture of your scale on Monday the 4th.

I think the best thing would be for everyone to keep their money until the end of the contest, and then send it to the win/place/show top three as decided. This contest will start next Monday.
