I haven't a drawing in years. I didn't realize some states had moved to an RNG system. I just assumed it was those ping pong balls.

Illinois just got rid of the ping pong balls. I kinda miss the drawings on the news.

I rarely buy stat lottery tickets and I don't know how they operate but I was shocked to find out that they could be rigged.

My friend buys tickets through the app and he has had several payouts of under $600 each and the state is not paying him due to the budget issues.

NY state had a "rigged" scandal in it's early lottery days.
It was not widely reported......gee ?......I wonder why ?

And how come I hear about all these NY public schools not having money to operate ?
.......so where is all that lottery money for "education" going ?

I had no idea because I don't ever watch the drawings. Hearing that this is all RNG based makes me less likely to play. With casinos, they have done a lot to show how they will protect the integrity of slots. With lotteries, who has any idea, especially with states' trying to outsource them.

It is a shell game... if lottery takes in 1million... that 1million goes into education fund... then 1 million comes out of education budget and goes somewhere else. It is not on top of what they spend on education.
