MLife Website Now Listing Coin In/Out/Jackpots

Sorry if this is not new, however, found that the mLife site has a listing of Coin Out, Jackpots, Coin In Categories under the Slot Statistics section of Tax Info (used to only show Estimated Slot Win).

I find it very interesting information, since I never really kept track of my Coin In on slots/VP.

So with that said, is $7000 coin in (80% slots, 20% VP) worthy of any comps (I currently get 3 night Comp with about $50 Free Play) at lower end MGM Casinos?)

 

$7000 for how long? a day, weekend, week, year?

 

Thanks for posting this. I wasn't aware that this change was made and it sure was interesting to look up and see total coin in and coin out.

The $7000 coin in your asking about - was that all from one day of play or over a trip? If it was one day it might generate a small amount of comps.

I'm pretty sure that the reason this is important is for tax purposes -- theoretically speaking, your "coin out" is at least a closer approximation of the win that should be reported on your forms, offset by your "coin in" which are your losses. Previously they'd only reported net winnings, which people tended to assume were enough for their tax forms (they're not).

 

I'd say your offers are good for 7k coin-in. I did 90k+ coin in, a couple trips ago, and over 100k coin-in, during my last trip. Both trips entailed 2 days of gambling. These have been my heavier coin-in trips, but I have never gotten freeplay offers from mlife.

 

Never gotten FP Sin? Surely you jest.

 

Only freeplay I have gotten was from an MB slot tournament. All my offers have Resort Credit, but never Freeplay. I will say that at least half of the coin in from these two trips were from VP, so that may have something to do with it. I guess they know they don't have to give me freeplay to get me to visit Vegas...lol.

Edit: to clarify...I am talking strictly mlife here. I get freeplay from all my local casinos.

 

This is nice to see. Mine goes back to 2008. I sure got taken by my host back then. There was no VMB for me, so I knew nothing about comps. I had no idea what Tier points meant in terms of coin-in. My coin in for 2008 and 2009 is $500,000 each year over about 3 trips (3 days each). I used to have to beg and plead for spa suite or something nicer than a regular room. Comps for food were non-existent. When Aria opened, I switched and my corporate offers were suite and 3x better than what my host ever gave me at NYNY. It's nice to see the truth now in this new look from Mlife.

 

I didn't know this - so definitely appreciate the information. All I can say is DAMN - no wonder I get good offers .

After looking my coin-in, I have to say: DAMN - they cheated on me. I left too much on the table.

 

I still am shocked by this.

 

I average only about $1000 coin in per day (thus $7000 for whole year - play about 7 days/year). I think most of my offers were previously based on table play, however, that has basically not been a factor this year (switched to mainly VP/Slots/Poker). Do not get my 4 hours/day any more (with about $50/hand ave.).

 

Here's my question. I am back to Pearl as of Oct. M-life says I need 70,000 points to get back to Gold.

Anyone know how much coin-in it will take to reach this?

Strictly slots. Don't know if it makes a difference but typically 1.00-5.00 reel type.

 

You get 10 Tier Credits for $3 coin in on most reel slots. So 70,000 Tier Credits is $21,000 coin in.

 

I wish my Jackpot column did not say $0.00!

 

They have me at $20k coin-in at NYNY over three days in April... and I have not been getting ANY offers... WTF

 

Thanks OP, I didnt know they did this either! CET hasnt posted my win/loss yet. But if I compare my 2014 one to my 2015 Mlife its night and day.

I stayed at a CET property 3 times for a total of 6 days in 2014. My losses on the year were $4,200.00 over that span. I did have a total of $1200 in free play ($400 per trip) and that earns points so I assume it counted through the cycle. So even with a $1200 head start I lost $4200 or $700 per day. All slots. I averaged only $5-$6K of coin per day.

I stayed at an MGM property 3 times for a total of 6 nights in 2015. I posted a loss of just under $700 for the year! Or $115 per day. i did have some decent wins that helped me along. i hit for a grand with them 3 times and I never did more than $400 at CET in one shot. My coin in was just over $8K per day. I did get $500 in free play once and $40 twice. So even with 1/2 as much free play I had a fraction of the losses I had when I stayed with CET and my coin-in was 50% higher so I played longer as well.

I think I made the right choice when I switched my play this year. Sorry CET, the proof is in the pudding.

I had two trips to MGM Grand this year. The second trip coin in looks right.

But on the first trip, I earned 8,045 base points, judged by looking at my HGS points. There were no HGS points bonus promos going on at the time; it was Superbowl weekend.

8,045 base points should be at least $24,135 coin in. But they have me at $18,843.
