I am late to this thread. I cannot speak about foreign transactions at all.

I would arrange to have the money WIRED. You can contact the casinos via their website to handle making an account. Casinos LOVE to get money, because if they have it, you will want it. All I ever needed to setup an account in a Sportsbook was my drivers license and cash. Maybe a bank account too, but it has been so long since I setup my accounts, I cannot remember, I did just deposit cash into my sportsbook account yesterday.

You MUST bet in cash or have an account with CASH in it. When you bet with an account you just bet by either giving your account number at the window or you use the mobile app. Cantor and William Hill both have mobile apps that use the PHONE GPS, you can only bet through the app if your phone GPS says you are in Nevada.

Some sportsbooks have no affiliation with the casino. Look up Cantor Technology and William Hill. Since William Hill is english maybe something there for you. So, a frequent player card in casinos is mostly for slot and table game players, in the sportsbook it is a different comp system. Usually, they just tell you the Players Club Card is useless.

All sportsbooks gave up on the battle against technology. Feel free to use your laptop and cellphone as much as you want.

Cheers backinvegas for the info. I contacted the mirage sportsbook but they said they can't accept wiring from outside the US, so I'm guessing that option is out.

The other option im thinking of us creating a bank account with citibank and just withdrawing it from the back as and when I need it... Just annoying to have to go to the bank to do it each time [emoji35]

What about Marker Limit Application? I think that asks a bunch of sensitive questions, but I am not sure of the time frame for it to all get accomplished.

Not quite 7 AM here in Vegas, so there is no one at any sportsbooks for me to ask.

I drove over to the Mirage.

I talked to the CASHIER WINDOW.

You wire the MONEY to them, and then when you need money you go to them and they give you chips for betting.

I did not ask if you then cash the chips in for cash, which was what I would do.

I have a card they gave me and below is what is on it

Please remit via FedWire Transfer to

    Bank of America, NA
    300 S. Fourth Street
    Las Vegas, NV 89101

    ABA Routing No. 026009593
Account Name: The Mirage Casino Hotel
    Account Number: 990024895

Reference Customer's Name and Player's Club Number

Since you are now armed with more information I would call the casino again to verify everything and I would make sure to ask how you would get cash out of it.

Hopefully, this helps out or at least helps you get the ball rolling.
