I am not sure what to do if anything, so I am hoping someone could give advise. I just got a survey regarding my "Host" Relationship for my stay over last weekend. I know those reports get read (any maybe even read by my Host.

Not sure if my play warrants Host help, so here is is. I just hit 7 Stars with CET this weekend, I played over $55K Coin In $5 Slots (NOT VP) over 4 days Comp stay at Caesars in Augustus Room.

I emailed my host while I was there, a few times, wanting to meet him in person as we have not met, wanting to discuss booking my Diamond Aspiration Trip, letting him know that I hit 7 Stars Tier points and that I had a couple of questions. I did not even get a response and I know he was working. I don't want to get the guy in any hot water, but also don't think I got any help either.

It was also my Birthday last weekend while I was on property.

Am I crazy, or should the fact that I hit 7 Stars warrant an email response or check in call. OR.... is my play insignificant and not worthy of Host attention????

Also, wondering if I even have a "Real Host" or just an inside Sales Person, How do I find that out???

Please let me know your thoughts. Should I honestly fill out the survey or just not respond.

I am not surprised. I had a similar bad experience with my assigned host at CP a few years ago. I filled out a survey, gave some poor comments, and received a voicemail form the perturbed host a few weeks later. So I guess she did see what I wrote

If a host gets a request from players at your level, they should reply. Even if they blow you off with some stupid lie about being busy.

P.S. When it is time to book your trip, some hints.
Figure out exactly what you want and send an email with FULL DETAIL. No abbreviations. Every flight number, time, etc. They forward all this to another group and if there is a phone call involved... good luck.

most people get a host when they hit around 40k tier, being 7* you deserve it and they know that. you will eventually find out that you have more than 1 host...its not always acurate but if you download the total rewards play app. it has a button that list some of your host with all their contact info

Ive had good and bad host and dont hesitate to talk to another host or even go over their head, their job is to serve you.

my last home casino host, he wouldnt answer any calls text or emails for weeks, i went to the head GM of harrahs, got a call 5 minutes later with him kissing my ass....had a host tell me I cant get a room that night, call another one and got the room. in vegas had a host said I couldnt get a limo after CET changed their 7* stuff, well the other host out there says I can and had it ready.

I treat them how they treat me, so dont feel bad giving a bad report. only way he shouldnt have met you or replied to your email is if they werent at work. text his cell phone and he should answer you even on their off day

my host sent me a birthday text and i wasnt even staying there

and yes if they were on property they should have meet you. even a nice introduction , just common curtesy and for you bday a meal or bottle of something to your room, would have been nice.its a relationship and that person failed
    my 2 cents

Sort of. They re-assigned me to someone else on the same "team" but that person has never made any effort to meet me and I have no idea who it is

I would like to get a new host, can I do that? If so, how do I go about that? I don't want to get my host in any trouble, I would just like to move on quietly.

    Most hosts suck.

Never worry about getting in trouble a guy that sucks.

You need to get the number of a good host and just call him before your next visit.

Also, my host started out good, booked me the day before New Years last year and got a suite at PHO by the second day when it opened up after New Years Eve. I tired to build the relationship and even sent him a edible fruit arrangement after the second booking of a suite, but then nothing. My play really went up and he developed me, that is why I don't understand the cold shoulder at thus point, especially now at 7 stars

So, who can recommended a "Good" CET host and phone number that will work with my play, I usually earn between 1500 to 2500 tier credits per day and then get bonus TC after that.

While I think a host should respond, you have to realize that 13k coin in a day is only maybe 1300 theo.

That's really not that much for a host. I understand you're 7* but it seems that's mostly from daily bonus points.

You are right Shifter. I kind of figured that my play might be too low for Host Attention. Maybe that's all it is. I dont really know as i am only a year and a few months into the whole casino loyalty programs. It has only been 5 days since the emails, so maybe he will get in touch. I guess I'll hold off on doing the host relationship survey if I ever even do it.

13k coin in is 1300 theo? is the theo really 10% of coin in? I thought theo was more like 3% of coin in. in that case 13k coin in would be like 400 theo

You apparently make LOTS of visits. That might be part of the issue. Your overall play is good, but your AVERAGE play is low. And if you do short visits that add one days on each end,it gets worse.

To be honest, my dealings with CET hosts is that are heavily desk based - unless you are a higher end player. Even though you are 7Star.. your daily worth to them is low.

Thanks to everyone for their comments. I think I have a clearer understanding of how things work. I really like the interaction of this board.

I'm surprised to hear about the lack of attention. I'm Diamond Asper.2 and when I was at CP this past summer, I got a call from a CP host to my room asking if there was anything they could do for me. I was also personally greeted on the floor while playing by another host. My regular host always responds to my emails, always books me a suite and I haven't paid for much of anything (food, etc) other than tips and books a limo for me for airport transfers. He thanks me for my business. He does however, expect 3-4 hours a day in play.
    You need another host.

Let me explain to you the dilemma a casino manager has when trying to hire a good host. The two most important qualities in a host...outgoing friendliness and organization/reliability are almost mutually exclusive. It is very hard to find one person who excels at both of those. Usually a person is not both left brained and right brained. All my hosts have either been extremely friendly and nice or extremely organized/reliable....but never both. I definitely prefer the reliable type. As soon as I meet a new host and they are Mr/Mrs. congeniality, I know right away its gonna take a week or two to get my emails returned.

Fill out the survey and put down exactly what you feel. I did it and have since been contacted by phone and email and my last trip she was very attentive. Wasn't a jerk about it, just put down what I thought.
