    Some scary stuff here.

Glad they caught them. If they had any smarts, they could have easily gotten away.

Unfortunately so many of these types of crimes are crimes of opportunity. A little vigilance and awareness go a helluva long way in warding off these types of attacks.

I hope the victims recover and that these predators, who are nothing short of genetic debris, someday receive the jailhouse/street justice that they are due.

Some of the stuff I heard about Vegas made me not want to go back but then again, I at least carry pepper spray and a small blade.

    Attention middle aged men.

Those pretty young girls dont really like you for your charming personality and good looks.

Remember this little tidbit and it can save you alot of trouble down the road.

I agree with this. If you are at a place they know you, they will often keep an eye on you too.

Hope they all get good hard sentences no matter their age or it being their first crime.

The ones in the photo were in no way pretty.
In fact, I rarely see any pretty "working" girls in Vegas.

A little common sense goes a long way too. If the victims were a little liquored up it would make common sense and good judgment difficult. Why would you EVER stop off at Motel 6 with complete strangers?

    oo

    Thanks for the post Smart1

Like any large Metro, you need to be self aware.

I still rem the gunfights at the Rio parking garage a few years back.

And how a possible future Nascar Legend Chris Trickle,
never got his chance, from being at the wrong place at the wrong time in Las Vegas.

I wonder what they had to stop a the Motel 6 for? There's a lesson here. Buy massive amounts of cocaine before the night starts so you don't have to go back to a sleezey motel with a $2 hooker at 3:00 am.

Last year was my first trip and I don't sleep well. I walked out of the Aria, down to the strip, took a left on the sidewalk through that boarded up construction and across to the Walgreen by PH. By myself at about 4:00 am. Stupid. There were three dudes and a hooker on the bridge arguing, a few randoms and me. On the way back with two bags or water and beer I believe I was followed by a creepy guy and turned around back to the strip before going into the construction tunnel to enter the Crystals. I could have easily been robbed or worse.

    Stupid.

I'm not sure getting shot in a drive by shooting on an Interstate was a result of not being "self-aware". Bad things happen in any big city and everyone is right that it helps to be careful and not put yourself in bad situations. But sometimes awful things happen just because of dumb, bad luck. Wrong place, wrong time
