You just need to keep checking - I usually find the best rates between four and six weeks out....

Most current discount codes will end 12/31/15. A whole new list of discount codes for various companies will be available after Jan 1. Also, the competition factor will start to be addressed after the first of the year.

Yes it is called Dollar Express register for it and then do your rental. Just go down to the Dollar garage by pass the line and your name will be on a board directing you to your car. Last time in July they didn't have our size car and was upgraded to a mid size SUV

I have a car rented through dollar for my trip from February 25th-29th for $117. I made the reservation through the AAA website so I got whatever discount they offer. The cheapest price I have seen is $108 through Costco travel but I don't have a membersbip. Hope this info helps. Dan

My wife and I will be in Las Vegas from February 25th-29th and currently have a car booked with Dollar for $117. We got that price through the AAA website with whatever discounts they offer. The best price I have seen so far is $108 booking through Costco Travel but we don't have a membership so I couldn't do it. Hope that helps, Dan

Mess around with the times you will pick/drop the car.

I often find if you just leave the times at 12:00 like they default to, the times are expensive. I try 9:30 for the times, and the prices drop dramatically.

Alamo is showing $353 for a standard size rental on your dates, Dollar shows less than $300 for "city special" midsize....

Glad you mentioned Costco. Tried my rental through them and saved around $20. Thanks!
