Are there city rooms in the east tower or just the west?

    Thanks

Concur with all the other posters. City rooms in just the West. East has all terrace rooms

West Towers have the city view. We actually prefer the west tower rooms because we like the views of the city center, the west tower rooms are more convenient to get to from the parking garage, and I prefer the bubbler tubs in the west tower rooms over the soaking tubs in the east tower rooms.

We have a comp Terrace Studio reserved for our upcoming trip. I very much want, and am willing to pay an upgrade fee for, a fountain view. The one other time we stayed there we had a great fountain view room in the West Tower. Are the views generally better, worse or the same from the East Tower? As long we we get the fountain view, is there any reason to request one tower over the other?

You can ask at check in. If in the East Tower you will want a higher floor as potentially the Bellagio sign could partially block the view. The West Tower is set back a little bit and right below you is the Jockey Club and Bellagio parking garage. So in my opinion a high floor in the East would a superior view all things else equal.

I like the East Tower because it's an easier walk out to the strip. If you get the East Tower ask for rooms that end in 96 - 99. I prefer a mid-level room (like 33-36) for a better view.

I also had a comped studio. Asked for a fountain view with a $20. Was told that with the comped room already, the best view he could give me was the strip view. So ended up with being greeted by Brittany Spears's huge head every morning. There are worse things I suppose.

What could be worse than that? Losing the entire bankroll in the first 5 minutes on a 7-day Vegas trip?

Views are awesome in both towers, east tower gets you closer to the fountains but i still prefer the west by a small margin. Also less street noise in the west tower balconies, but east tower has it advantage on being right on the strip.

I ended up getting a studio terrace for 50 a night, so will ask for East Tower. Will do the $20 and hope for fountain view and mid/high floor.
