Headed to Vegas next month to meet up with some pen pals and a large group of VMBers. See this thread for more info - https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?124995-Will-you-be-in-Vegas-Dec-3-6-Not-an-official-meet-up-We-might-party

The suite that we wanted with a stripper pole is under renovation so we're planning to have something like this shipped to the hotel prior to our arrival.

For those of you who have shipped something prior to arrival (golf clubs, etc.), did you just send it to yourself at the hotel? Host?

I've had things shipped before. You're talking about PH...right? There are specific shipping instructions for PH (Just google it). The cost is based on the size if the package. I've always picked up my packages in the PH business centre on the mez. I've charged the fee to my room and it's always been comped on the back end. For
PH, you'll have to time the delivery. I do n't think they will hold a delivery for more than 3 days prior to your arrival.

Sure, after going through lots of hoops.... how are you going to secure it?

The portable ones work by compression.

Why not buy one once you get there. One can only imagine that this would be a fairly easy find in a place like Vegas.

I don't want to risk that it'd be tough to find. And Amazon ships for free.

Donate it to a local that earns it? [emoji83]

Don't know, haven't thought about that part yet.

I dunno, the people who want this suite probably don't care if the bathrooms have italian carerra marble or anything. :)

The one complaint about this + other larger suites at PH was that the couches weren't very comfortable. Probably on purpose they were made of some plastic feeling material!

This is correct. My sources tell me that we need to be somewhat more careful than with the bolt down kind.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem unless a Canadian hopped up on Cabernet gets a too aggressive on a spin.

That Canadian might buy in at the craps table with 500 loonies.
