New Member - Live in KC Mo, Commute to LV weekly

Good Evening

I joined the forum this evening after stumbling upon the site from Google. I figured it would be a great place to pick up tips or information about a city I am spending so much time in.

I have been traveling to Vegas since the end of April on a weekly basis. I fly in Sunday afternoon/evening and return home on Thursday afternoons. Occasionally I will stay over the weekend, depending on what is going on. With all the points I am racking up on Southwest, it is easy to fly a family member or friend out for the weekend.

Even though I am here weekly, I tend to work 10 or more hours a day, and really spend my most of my off time looking for a new restaurant to try or a better place to people watch. I was lucky enough to join Mlife on my first trip, and tend to stay at MGM properties while I am here. Since all $$$ spend on property contributes to tier status, I have been a Platinum member since July - gotta say, love the "invited guest" check in line (or lack of lines).

That is basically my story - you can probably find me any Sunday at Tom Urban's bar in NY NY (best staff I have ever encountered - they are the primary reason I am there weekly).

What are your main pros/cons of working in Vegas, from a commuter's point-of-view?
