Anyone ever done it? Had a 'friend' who has done it? Have any interesting stories to tell?
    Fire away.

Anyone who looks like they may be under 25 will get carded, cant say I,ve ever seen any blatant underage gambling in Vegas. And it seems even stricter at the bars.

I started going to LV back in my mid 20s and the only time I remember getting carded back then was for a drink at the old Silver Slipper. I was never carded when playing slots or at the tables.

Now a couple of years ago I was actually carded at the Beauty Bar downtown. I could not pass for under 21 if my life depended on it!

Nothing about being underaged and gambling, but I got carded while playing a slot by a cocktail waitress at MGM Grand when I ordered a drink. She was embarrassed as I was well into my 30's by then. I just said, "thank you" as I handed her my license :)

Went to Lucky Chances in the Bay Area when I was 18, had a fake ID that said I was 30 I got off a guy that looked similar, but in his picture he had a full beard. I probably didn't look a day over 12 at the time. So I play Holdem in the casino on 2 or 3 different occasions, wasn't asked for ID until the 3rd time, in the middle of playing they ask for the ID. Pretty quickly I get pulled off the table and into the back office, picture taken and trespassed. I went back a few years later after I turned 21, I guess I lost enough hair in between.

just a great way to pretty much 100% guarantee that you lose money

if you are losing and they check you I can just about guarantee you will not be getting your losses refunded to you and if you are winning and checked I can just about guarantee they will look at what you bought in with and if you are lucky they they will refund that.....if you are unlucky they will probably tell you that the chips are 100% the property of the casino and they are confiscating 100% of their property from you and you will walk away with only the cash you have in your pocket

if you protest that I am positive you will be headed to jail and facing a stiff court penalty

there is zero upside to trying this and little chance of getting away with it

Have not done it in vegas.. but at my local casino many times... pretty easy to carry an older friends ID. just gotta act like you belong. but if you are just planning on "not getting carded" i would say good luck because they card everyone in vegas nowadays..

Not vegas, but a California Indian casino (which was 18+). A friend of mine was visiting from Missouri, and she was 16, and I had just graduated high school and was 18...we printed her up a fake Missouri ID, and she got carded and it passed..Then again, we had the same kind of printer that the dmv used (don't ask why, lol)

I don't think I could have gotten away with it. I didn't start gambling until my late 40s, but always got carded for anything else well into my 30s. Always got pegged to be in my late teens until the gray hairs started showing up around 35. I even had a cop not want to believe my DL (at an accident scene that was not my fault).

My first trip to Vegas was in 1973. I was 17 and had just graduated High School. We played some Blackjack at the 4 queens and we were never carded.

I know a lot of older folks that did it (I'm early 30's), but today casinos are highly sensitive to it, they can be hit with pretty sizeable fines if it goes on.

My wife is a young-looking 30, and she gets carded several times a trip by CW at the machines or a pit boss at the table.

I never went to vegas until I was over 21, but I don't think I would have had the stomach to do it.

I wouldn't try it... I'm 31 now and always get carded at least once a day in Vegas.
Always fun to pull my Dutch drivers license out of my purse and see the look on the face of the person carding me: what the hell is that??? That, my friend, is 9 year old Dutch drivers license :D

I started going to Vegas in my early 20's. I never EVER got carded in the casino. However, at table games I frequently was (and still am) carded when sitting down.
The exception is the Indian casinos on the east coast. At Mohegan Sun i was carded about 15 times in one evening, and i was just wandering around the casino.

When I first started dating my wife, she was only 20. She had an outstanding fake ID. We would go to Vegas every couple weeks back than and she never had an issue.

Took a friend's little brother to Morongo when they were still in tents and you still had to pay ante. They had a bonus for hitting 4 blackjacks in a row. He hit 3 of them and then the suits came to watch. The first card that dropped was an ace. Never in my life did I wish to not get a blackjack, but this was a first. Fortunately, the second card was a 9 and the suits quickly dispersed. We colored up and thanked our lucky stars that none of us ended up in tribal jail.
