So my first trip to Vegas in almost 10 yrs was in July 2014. Since then I went this March, August, and about three weeks ago. Last week I got an email from a host at Venetian from a day and a half's worth of play on the last trip...so now I'm going next week for three nights comped. Am I becoming a Degen??? Do I need help???

Gambling addiction is only a problem if it causes problems in your life. I am a gambling addict, but it isn't a problem. Yet...

Are you winning or losing, and if it's losing is it alot for you? If not, enjoy yourself.

I was being a bit sarcastic...just that two years ago, I would not have believed anyone who told me I'd go to Vegas 3 time in 4 mos and enjoy It as much as I have! It really is so much more than just gambling

Heck, I go to Las Vegas every three weeks and spend 3 to 4 days. And... I don't even gamble.

Sounds like you are still in the Vegas ""is so much more than gambling"" honeymoon stage.. So enjoy!!!
For us it used to be once or twice a year, restaurants, shows, sightseeing, casino hopping, and a little gambling, in that order.
Now it's 3-4 times a year, usually with friends, and mostly about the gambling, with occasional fine dinner and show thrown in.
Hmmm, maybe we're the ones who need help...

Kidding aside, our success in being able to continue our 15 year love affair with Vegas is:
Bring only the amount of money we can afford and are willing to leave behind, and never, ever hit the ATM.

Plus we live vicariously following VMB high rollers posts and drooling over their incredibly huge bankrolls..and it's free!

I agree! I go twice a year, and some of my "non Vegas friends" think I'm insane. You're fine, as long as you can afford it.
My only problem is I only go to Vegas during pool season, which eliminates Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb :)

From someone who's about to take their 6th or 7th trip for the year, there's always something new to see. For me it's a way to get away from work, and just relax.
