My family wants to try one of these Indian restaurants off strip here...also I have a nice Restaurant.com coupon for them...my question is I can easily get a taxi from our strip hotel to there but what about from the restaurant back to the strip?

I don't imagine they have taxis waiting in line at an Indian restaurant 2 miles from the strip

The restaurant will call a taxi for you. Uber will be quicker and cheaper. Would be a good time to try them

We've gone to Ellis Island for dinner or a late night meal a few times and had them call a cab for us because no cabs queue there. Still, it takes forever for one to show up.

I'd suggest giving Uber or Lyft a try. Probably will be quicker and cheaper.

Yeah, getting there will be no problem... we've gone off strip a few times (for food and other things) and when it comes to getting a taxi back it seems like you are either lucky and one is there dropping somebody off (which isn't that common) or most likely you end up having to wait 30-45 minutes for a taxi to show up - taxis just don't seem to like leaving the strip area unless they have to.

Lyft worked flawlessly was there within 5 mins and less than $14 from off strip restaurant to hotel
