MyVegas Does MyVegas pay the casino's full price? Thoughts?

    Random Friday morning thought.

    Do you think MyVegas pays the casinos full price for our award?

    Like, when I go to the Mirage for a weekend brunch, it's $35.99, do you think the Mirage gets that?

    I would imagine MLife and MyVegas has worked out a set fee. Thoughts?

    no way its FULL price. My guess being in the advertising and whole sale industry is that myvegas pays half. Could be even less depending on how desperate mgm is for foot traffic. If ceasers was interested in this idea from the get go, that would only give the myvegas people more negotiating power.

    It's marketing. Way less then half, that's why they have a lot of restrictions and require a stay, etc. Alsp the app licenses the IP from MGM for their games, I don't know how that licensing works as to the people who pay for coins, if MGM gets any of that.

    I'm sure it's discounted with a set number of awards they can buy at a time. It looks a lot like the Groupon model.

    I ASSUME that

    The partner decides what rewards to offer, how many per day, and negotiates the price MyVegas will pay. Based on what they are paying, MyVegas then sets the LP requirement for that reward.
