So what's your favourite hot sauce? And why?

Bonus points for naming a restaurant in Vegas that has it :licklips:

Me, I quite like Cholula - nice flavour, goes well with pretty much everything and it's just hot enough to be interesting but not so hot it overpowers other flavours.

Cholula - Usually found at the local Deli - USED - On Chicken Sandwiches
Tapatio - Usually found at the local Tex Mex - USED - On Fajitas
Tabasco - Chipotle - Usually found at Chiptole's - USED - On Burritos

Cholula would be my first choice on everything!

The Pepper Plant Original California Style Hot Pepper Sauce: On a juicy cheeseburger. Works especially well if the burger includes mustard and pickles.

Crystals is my everyday utility sauce even though Tabasco is one of the most famous exports from my home state. Crystals is made in New Orleans and is much better sauce.

But Tabasco Chipotle is Tabasco's best sauce. It goes on almost anything and can be found almost anywhere.

Yep, Crystal takes the LA style. But you gotta have multiple go-to sauces. There's just no way one goes with that wonderful breadth of food in this world.

Totally depends on what it's for. Cholula is my go-to for Mexican-type foods, but I prefer Tabasco for eggs or pizza, and I use sriracha for burgers and anything else that might take ketchup.

Cholula chili garlic on everything. Sriracha and trader joes has a green sriracha knock off which is good

Tapatio for everyday stuff like eggs

Sriracha for stuff like Kogi, or to mix with mayo for a sandwich

I like trying weird hot sauces, too. I have a bunch in the fridge.

I am a Frank's man myself, Texas Pete in a pinch, followed by Cholula, then Sriracha. I refuse to use Tabasco, far to vinegary for me.

    Louisiana is my go to.

I hate, Tobasco so if that is all the restaurant has I will go without.

Some sauces are better with certain dishes, but just about any sauce will do for basic dishes like beans or huevos. If I had to pick one it would be Yucatan Sunshine. I like habanero flavor, and the sauce is no hotter than Tabasco, so essentially you can drink it.

I LOVE garlic, was quite disappointed at the Cholula garlic version. The original is so much better to me!

I just remembered Cajun Power Garlic Sauce. It is hard to find and that is why I have Cholula listed as my favorite- since I can get it! But NOTHING beats CPGS!

I dont have a high tolerance for heat. I just love the taste it adds to food. If you love garlic, you need to try my garlic spread i make for kebabs.

Would love to! Some Middle Eastern restaurants have a white garlic spread that will keep vampires away for years! As well as your friends and family! But, boy, it IS good!
