I have never really paid all that much attention to my TCs until this year. I made Platinum for 2015, probably over 150,000 TCs from play and 50K from spend over 3 trips. Prior to 2015 I hadn't really inquired about my average bet size and time at tables, the last few trips I have paid more attention and gotten that information. So I thought I had a handle on how quickly I accrue TCs from my play. This weekend seems way out of whack on the plus side for me.

I was rated at 10.5 hours at $135 average bet all on craps. I am not sure on the coin in for the slots, but I know they were all premium in MLife's eyes so $10/1 TC and maybe ran a couple thousand through. Spend was just about $1,500 at all MLife resorts, so that would equate to roughly 35,000 TCs.

I logged onto MLife today and see my balance at over 125,000. I'm not complaining, but that just seems high. I am usually about half that amount. I will easily retain platinum (which isn't great for all that much) on my next trip. Aria was pretty stingy on back-end comps this weekend as well. I've gotten a little with the same amount of play previously but this time nothing. I enjoy the casino and don't play for comps so it didn't really bother me, but what MLife properties would value 4 hours a day at $125 average for craps? Is that host worthy at any of their mid-tier properties? Just thinking about my options.

    Thanks

I think the formula was 33 TCs per $1 of theo.

    $135 * .014 theo * 100 hands/hr * 10.5 hrs = $1984 theo * 33 TCs = ~65,000 TCs

    $1,500 hotel spend * 25 TCs = 37,500 TCs

    That gets you to 102,500

It's $10 for 10 (not 1) TCs on specialty slots, so another 20,000 TCs to get you near 125,000 would imply $20,000 coin in on specialty slots, or under $7,000 on non-specialty slots.

If they took off charges back-end, your TCs may get adjusted down by 25 for each $1 comped off.

That's decent play, you should get good offers from individual properties if you only played at a couple.

I wouldn't bother using a host unless you want to stay more nights than you get offers for.

Thanks, the 65K is what I really would have expected. There is no way I had $20,000 coin in. Oh well, I will take what they gave me.
