Its an aperitif that Coke used to make and sell in Italy. I don't think they sell it there anymore, which means you can only get it at special locations (like Vegas coke world). Its more bitter than sweet

Thanks for the report! I know you mentioned before that you think yours can be boring and repetitive, but I always like them!

Great report... I wanna check out the wetlands park now. Looked cool.

Need to look up Beverly now.

Also kudos on the ATHF reference. After the finale I started to re-watch from episode 1. I am on season 8. Just watched rocket horse and jet chicken episode. One close to my heart, my favorite student of all time drew me an awesome picture with them in it.

Great trip report, enjoyed the read. Nice wins

My husband drinks "Crodino" which is an aperitif he orders from Italy. Him and my son love the stuff. We will have to stop at the Coke place to check out the Beverly beverage they have. I'm sure he'll love it.

I enjoy your trip reports, although between you and me you are a whale and I'm a minnow.

But I enjoy reading about the places you stay at, the places you visit and eat at, and your gut wrenching roller coaster rides when gambling at the tables.

Thanks for sharing and congratulations on being up for the year in gambling. Hope your final trips for the year add to your lucky fortune.

That's true. I think you've won the two times we shot craps at the same table

Congrats on your winning trip and happy birthday!

Thanks for including the Wetlands park in your report. It sounds like something Brett and I would enjoy so I've added it to the list :)

Have you decided where you are staying for MM opening weekend 2016?

Not yet. And not to go too far off topic, but based on my gambling experiences over the past two years, as well as the somewhat negative experiences I have had recently at Bellagio and Cosmo, I am strongly considering cutting back on the number of vegas trips next year. 2012 and 2013 I went a lot and won a ton of money. 2014 and 2015 I went even more and experienced a hell of roller coaster at the tables (swings of hundreds of thousands of dollars, losing big last year and trying to hold onto a small gain this year). I don't really want to go through those swings anymore. I have been gambling less on most of my trips over the past year or so.

So right now I am leaning toward five big vegas trips next year (NFL playoffs in Jan, Super Bowl, March Madness, sometime in August, and the October bday trip). And to answer your question, Kelly, I think I am going to stay at Aria for each of those trips. I like the property and get along very well with my host. I like MGM Grand too, but right now I am leaning toward Aria. I just don't know if I can only go to vegas five times a year. But if I do, I will probably just become an Aria regular

Love the report, now I have an interest in the Wetlands when I go in a week and a half (sometimes you just need a break from casinos), If I can make this trip a break-even or winning trip (hopefully winning, trying to stick to poker since that's where I fund my other gambling from) I am hoping to make a MM trip.

I remember chatting with you a couple of years ago about Wiggins's potential college destination (I was hoping FSU, you UK obv, he goes to Kansas (WTF?!?!)). It would be particularly sweet for me this year b/c I have high hopes for FSU's potential with the class they brought in. However if I don't make it for this season I am all-in on next season as that class is looking to be better than this one.

Congrats on finishing up. Curious as to the $$$ to units bet ratio? I mean up $20k would be between 400 and 1000 units for me.

    ***edit to add***
Saw your timer. Looks like we will be in Vegas at the same time next week. Maybe I will wander over from Luxor to see if I can spot you playing the dark side (always wanted to give it a shot)

The wetlands park was a nice, non-strenuous outdoors break from the usual Vegas trip. As I have said, definitely worth the short trip.

MM is my favorite time in Vegas. It helps that my Cats are usually pretty good. But hell, I remember watching their NIT games out there as well  Its still the best trip just because of the energy in the casinos. Super Bowl has a different kind of energy because its more high rollers, but MM is packed with gamblers and partiers at all levels.

I will be around MGM in two weeks, probably mostly around the high limit and the sportsbook (ready for some NBA!!). Say hello if you see a short guy with a VMB wristband

Was that the NIT when they lost to Robert Morris? Not that I can talk I am pretty sure that was the same year FSU lost to freaking Minnesota....

MM has always been on my list, but the timing with the wife's job (she's a teacher) and now having 2 kids makes it more challenging. I am already sacrificing a week or so at some point in the next 6-8 months so she can go on a girl's cruise. Plus I hate paying and flying Thurs-Sunday. May have to stretch it to Wed-Mon to justify it. Lol.

Actually, the Robert Morris game I watched at home. But the last season before Coach Cal, they were in the NIT (I think against Notre Dame).

I always arrive on Wednesday and stay to Monday for MM. The Sunday flight costs are insane
