Sweet! Great going! How does the "Super" game work...does it just pay more for quads and SFs?

Yup, for 1 extra credit you basically double your money for all quads and about triple for straight flushes.

    Nice hits.

Guessing you have a folder full of those damnable W-2g's. I picked up a few recently on a trip to Cherokee. Wins are nice, but the damn money goes on the first page of the 1040...$%&#^&%^.

Yep. This is the kinda of thing I'm into.

    Super Double Double seems interesting.

But as Scotty said, Super Triple Play is terribly volatile. This game is worse than Triple Double Bonus in volatility because the extra credit is only paid back to you when you hit quads or a straight flush.

6/5 Super DDB with Super Triple Play pays back 98.34% with optimal strategy. But Quads pay out so huge, you break all full houses, and any 2 pair with high cards. The payback from hands less than quads is only 60.28%, so any quad drought is super rough.

Now regular Super DDB isn't too terrible if you are used to playing DDB, the variance goes up by about 20% vs. DDB. And if you like DDB, I would recommend this game at CET properties due to their paytables being some of the best that CET offers on Game Kings. Quarters is 6/5 (97.69% with optimal strategy) and dollars on units that start at the $1 level should be 7/5 (98.61% with optimal strategy At PHo the last time I looked in April that bank was near the north elevator, iirc.

No quads+ is still rough though, hands worse than quads expect to return 72.89% at 6/5 Super DDB. At 9/5 DDB, hands worse than quads expect to return 76.57%, just marginally better.

I can't complain about the game myself. My first Aces w/2,3,4 at quarters came on it this year! And unlike DDB, you do sometimes hold kickers. Trip face cards with a kicker is worth holding.
