Like clockwork I got my new offer from the Cosmo 2 weeks after my last trip.

2 free nights, unrestricted (a first for me) and.. $45 in identity play, also a first for me.

My husband got 2 free nights Sun-Thurs which we promptly booked. I've seen jack-all for my account so far. We are hoping with actually staying there 2 nights this time, we will have enough play to generate better offers. In the past we've just played there for a few hours here and there because we were staying elsewhere.

My offers have been kind of up and down. In May I was on an offer for 4 nights unrestricted. Then immediately after got offer for 2 nights any time. Waited, didn't book on it right away, got the next one for 2 nights anytime and $65. I booked on the one without freeplay as freeplay wasn't valid yet. But after this past trip it's down to 2 nights Sun-Thurs. Last couple of trips have had a lot of non-gambling stuff going on so I guess it's being reflected. Though it was odd that I got my latest offer the day I checked out. I think it was the regularly scheduled offer because it was 10 weeks out from the expiration of the previous. This one only runs from Dec 25 to Feb 17. Lots of big weekends in there with New Years, Super Bowl and a few big conventions. Hopefully it bumps back up.

My mom played on my card which explains the bump... but the bump does not explain why they would not comp the resort fees off my bill when the did last time. Meh still a good deal either way.

This past trip the comp was split between myself the GF. I paid for one night casino rate and them 2 comp through an offer...no resort fee. The gf booked her two nights via VIP services. Resort fee charged. I was Sterling when booked so it wasn't the Gold benefit though I did get back to Gold this trip. I can't really complain paying roughly only $220 for 5 nights at the Cosmo. I am really wanting to bump up to a Wraparound Suite though I don't think my action is near enough for that.

Wanker/BBC - what's your guys' typical play/bankroll at Cosmo? Been thinking about giving them some action to see if I can generate any offers as a possible diversion from CET props.

Mostly vp and slots about 1500.

Mom and I did about 3500 identity points this last trip

I did about 2500 points almost all on vp. They don't give points for tables but they do figure into your comps/theo. I'm think 10k to 15k coin in vp would get you a midweek marketing offer.

Yeah easy. I run about the same as you, but probably more slots in. Honestly I think Cosmo is very generous with their room offerings as I never get the higher end CET properties comped on similar play and Cosmo blows them away in rooms IMO. I hope like hell they don't get absorbed into the MGM blob, as they are very competitive with their offers.

And that's the reason why the gf and I have switched almost exclusively to Cosmo. Though downtown has taken a bit of our time combined with non gambling activities have made my action go down slightly. Cosmo comps better than when I was primarily nyny and Monte Carlo.

I got another 2 day offer, Sun-Thurs, a week after my Aug trip this year after making Sterling this trip. that or $400 resort credit for a paid Fri-Sat.
That doesnt quite compute to me as I cant see 2 nights adding upto $200 midweek, maybe if it was a resort room I suppose

Yeah, I agree. I've heard/read plenty of complaints about weak backend comps. I don't have any experience with that, but my upfront offers have been very good relative to the action I've given them. I hit it hard one night about a 1.5 years ago. Other than that I only really give them an hour or two of VP/craps action per trip and the good offers keep coming.

I'm trying to figure out whether I should use my card if I play there later this month - I don't want to continue to dilute my ADT but I don't want to fall off the radar either.

Interesting. My offer went up after my July trip (2 nights anytime + $85 freeplay instead of 2 nights midweek or $200 Resort Credit). But the date ranges have been narrower than yours. First one was July 16 - Sep 30, the one I got after that was Oct 1 - Nov 25th.

Fwiw my wife booked on an offer this past trip and maybe earned 700 pts in slots. Her offer went from 2 week nights and 400 Fri sat to 150 Fri and sat and 2 week nights. So not a terrible drop

I get the concert emails too. Saw Cage the Elephant in June and Counting Crows just a couple weeks ago. Both pretty good shows. I like the setup at BLVD Pool actually. Also if you email concierge they'll tell you what time the bands are scheduled to go on. That was super helpful this past trip.

That is good to know. I could have seen Willie Nelson in july but we were too busy gambling and garbage this trip but I do not think mom would like garbage. I hope MLK weekend there is someone or something
