I was trying to entertain my little boy the other day and ended up playing a few Vegas flash mob videos. It got me wondering if we could ever pull of a VMB flashmob. It would probably be just a bunch of us, drunk and dancing with our shirts, wristbands and maybe a few signs. Who would be brave or drunk enough to do this? I think it would be a fun way to promote the sight. Am i crazy? has anyone else been board enough to think of it?

Enough alcohol and I would join in, but never thought about it. Given enough alcohol would also probably improve my dancing skills.

    We have VMB shirts?

I've done this by myself a bunch of times on Fremont.

    No one ever 'gets' it.

I pretty regularly embarrass myself off-camera, so why not? :) I've never done a flash mob before. I had a chance to do one with a bunch of knitters, but I ended up not going to the event and missed it. The video looked like they were all questioning whether or not this was a good idea. :haha:

Kinda. But hang on. I've got a lot of irons in the fire right now, both on and off the board. One of the things I'm working on is new gear from a better quality source.

There are one-man wolfpacks, so there must be one-man flashmobs!

I've done two "crowd" ones. Once of those was a "glow-stick" dance, performed outside in the dark. Good times!

I'll be ready to shake my money-maker the week between Christmas and New Year's then! And I don't mean my teaching license!

Wow, they still do that kind of thing? I thought that died out a few years ago.

As for whether I would participate....I would be the one with the camera filming it (but not participate).

makikiboy, I think we could get you to participate. I would put the Hostess Buffoon and her girls on it. They always find a way to make you be silly, even if it's just jager-bomb after jager-bomb until you lose your ability to make good decisions. :haha:

Nah, not likely, lol. I could never understand the flash mob thing and probably wouldn't make a fool.....er, I wouldn't put myself though that kind of thing (plus I have 2 left feet and no rhythm or coordination so it wouldn't be pretty). Still, if you get a bunch of cute girls dressed scantily I may reconsider (but I would more likely be filming them instead).

How many pancakes does it take to cover a dog house? :)

If I happened to be in town and somehow got the word and was free, yeah, I would do it.
