    My Trip Report

This is the G2E portion of my trip report from earlier this month, more to come later as it was a long 6 night trip. This part of the trip report talks about G2e with lots of photos of the new slots coming out in the future along with videos of some of them as Scientific Games (WMS/ Bally Technologies) and Aristocrat gave a few of us permission to record. I only covered slots and not anything coming out for poker, table games or in the hospitality area of G2E.

I normally don't play any of those fancy type of slots but I'd definitely give Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones a try.

Kathy, have lots of fun and big wins! We seem to have missed each other on trips this year but hopefully will catch each other in Vegas next year!

I didn't get a chance to try Breaking Bad though my friend Skyler said she enjoyed it. I had a good time with Game of Thrones and there looks to be some big win potential there, but we'll see what it's like when it finally makes it to the casino floors. Hope you like them both when they are released and have some fun bonuses and good wins!

    Thanks, glad you enjoyed reading!

I think the slots that are coming out with the skill based options might be more like a year out but will attract a lot of attention at least at first. I know that I'll likely have to try the Texas Tea slot with Pinball even though I'm personally resistant to anything that hints at skill being involved, LOL!

Hi, Diana! I've enjoyed reading your TRs for quite awhile now--even before I joined this merry band of mischief-makers here at VMB! I appreciate your great attention to detail and I always feel like I'm along for the trip. Plus, it's a treat to step away from my reality to escape to Vegas through your reports and pics. Thanks for sharing and perhaps our paths will cross in Vegas someday!

Great report Evoni! A friend who was there mentioned watching people play on the demo mode and still not getting to bonus rounds- they must have been some of the unfinished games without the bonuses possibly even active yet.....that explains a lot! Thanks for taking us along!

Looking forward to the full trip report!

As always, super report!! Thanks a lot for sharing, I hope I will get a chance to play some of the new slots when I am in Vegas in December.

Any slight chance you will also be there during Dec 4-11? Would love to finally meet and say hi to you!

Thanks, always good to hear someone likes the vids!

Thanks Richard for letting me know you enjoy my TR's! I run into a lot of of people from VMB in Vegas on various trips and it's always fun so I hope we cross paths soon too!

Glad you enjoyed them. We were lucky with a couple of the slot manufacturer's this trip. Seems like a lot of their employees watch some of our videos on youtube and like the fact we share them. Now if we could only get all the casinos on board with that. :)

That's odd that would happen when people are in demo mode, unless they were not selecting the bonuses from the demo menu provided and just wanted to see what random spins would be like. While all the slots at G2E are set up to be played on though likely set to their higher percentages of return, if someone is keyed into demo mode it brings up a menu (you can see that in a few of my vids) where you select the bonus you want and then it goes into that next spin. For those games still not complete and missing bonuses those bonuses shouldn't appear on the demo menu until they are installed. BTW, even in demo mode the bonus amount is a random win amount unless they have a button included that says BIG WIN or in the case of a game like Willy Wonka with a golden ticket for 5k, a option to select that.

Unfortunately most of the slots you saw in my TR won't be out for 6 months to a year, sometimes longer. I'm afraid we'll just miss each other as I will be in Vegas with my family and friends for Thanksgiving and going back home on November 27th. Hopefully though we'll have trip dates that coincide next year and can meet up! Have a wonderful time and win lots on your December trip!

Great trip report as always!!! I enjoyed seeing the new machines that might make their way on to the casino floor. They are really thinking up all these crazy ideas for slot machines. They certainly know how to make the people spend their money, especially capitalizing on all the popular TV shows that people like to watch. I guess that's part of the gambling business!! LOL I will be in Vegas from November 21st till the 27th. Hoping to hopefully run in to you and say hi.

Finally got around to this. Took awhile with all the videos! I think those that let you take videos were the smarter of the group. I definitely want to try a lot of those! Especially "Christmas Story", "Caddyshack", and "Monty Python"!

    Great report!

I'm at Cosmo on the evening of the 21st, then Aria on the 22nd and 23rd, and then with the family for 3 nights at Palazzo starting the 24th. Hopefully on one of those days we'll see each other and can say hi!

Thanks! Lets hope with those fun slots finally make their way to the casinos we can win some money from them too. I really like the slots that have a lot of humor in them. I'm hoping that the Austin Powers slot which was at G2E last year and then again this year is finally about ready to be released!

Hi Diana, it is fun to see the videos of the new slots we can look forward to. I looked for you at Cosmo and listened for SDGuy, lol. Sorry I missed you again. I met a couple of Australian guys Wednesday that were part of G2E. Had a blast playing Wonka and Buffalo with them. We are heading back in December. Do you have plans to go then? How did SDGuy land the role of slot zombie?

Sorry I missed you too. I was so tired by Wednesday night I didn't think to text you and I went to bed around 1am which is early for me. SDGuy went downtown on Wednesday night after dinner so Rex and I were alone at Cosmopolitan until around midnight and of course we are a bit more quiet then you know who, except for the occasional shouts of Lloyd that Rex gets, LOL!

SDGuy was invited to tour Aristocrat in early summer and meet some of the game designers because they enjoy his videos, especially the ones he did on the Can Can slot. While he was meeting/chatting with designers someone in their secret development area told him that he might be a good fit for a character in a slot they hadn't announced yet and invited him to test for it so they flew him a couple weeks later out to LA, all expenses paid and made him up for the part of a Zombie. Then in late summer he found out he had made the cut and would be in the slot as one of the Zombies in the picking part of the bonus. SDGuy also got paid for being a Zombie but I'm pretty sure he would have done it for free if asked. ;)

I'll miss you in December, I'm going for Thanksgiving and then possibly for NYE again.

That is awesome! The guys I met work for Aristocrat. They offered passes for G2E for Thursday, but it was our last day so we didn't accept. I told them the Buffalo Stampede look like rats running and they agreed lol
