Pedialyte Flavor?

Going to use pedialyte this trip. Never tried it or tasted it. Does it taste similar to Zipfizz energy drink? For those that don't know what Zipfizz is, it's similar to 5 hour energy. It comes in powder form and you mix with water. I usually use it later in the night for a boost when I get tired.

At my local the grocery store, they had orange and strawberry lemonade Pedialyte flavors. 6 powder packets for $8.99. They did not have a variety pack.

Which one tastes better?

 

Never had Zipfizz, but I have had 5 Hour Energy. Pedialyte tastes better than 5 Hour Energy. Orange is my least favorite. I mean they're all pretty nasty to me, but strawberry lemonade is better than orange, imo. Overall I prefer grape.

 

I'm also trying it for the first time this trip. I ordered a box of orange from Amazon but there were variety packs available too (strawberry, apple, grape & fruit punch). I assume whatever flavor it is the experience can't be worse than choking down a glass of airborne.

 

Orange is my choice.

P.S. They all suck your first time.

 

I'm usually too plastered to notice the flavor I drink. I get the variety pack in the baby section at Walmart. I don't remember any of them tasting especially good or bad.

 

Me too,,, but Apple is my least favorite.

 

Yea they have an odd sweet taste that do not go all that great after drinking alcohol. But push through and chug it, it helps fight against that crappy disoriented feeling the next day.

 

Yeah the Apple packets are the worst

 

I'd rather be hungover than drink the apple flavor.

 

Haha no matter how messed up I am in Vegas once I get back to the room at night even if I have an apple and I still think it's nastier than hell. Feel sorry for babies are actually forced to drink it

 

Yeah none of them are great but I just chug it. You'll be happy in the morning.

 

Yeah, I think the grape is the best bet. Like other people have said there is a kind of overpowering sweet sweet taste to it. I usually have a glass of water after drinking it. Hey, can't hurt to get more water right?
Then in the morning I'll have some Gatorade before doing it all over again. Plus I like thinking of it as per-medicating.

 

It's a lifesaver but I have to agree the apple is very bad. That's gotta be the last packet if I am going to use it.

 

I get the No Flavor...it's clear. I just plug my nose and drink til it's gone =)

 

Zip fizz tastes much much better but Pedialyte works.

I don't mind the apple, the fruit punch is my least favorite. I am so used to them now though I don't even notice the flavor. I just notice my head feels normal in the morning. Unlike right now because I didn't Pedia last night! 2 bottles of cab, ugh.
