Just got back from a two week trip and I don't have enough interesting stuff for a trip report but I thought I would mention these two places.

We were in search of low limit BJ and craps so ventured out to RRPass had a good time ate at the diner/coffee shop and went back for pie and coffee later. Good food and service, love the pies. Niece and boyfriend said they loved the steakhouse. Friendly dealers and pit, $1 craps.

Went to Arizona Charlies Decatur in the morning and the smoke wasn't too bad I mentioned it to the locals at the table and they said "don't come back at night!" Otherwise nice place to low roll. Also went to Az Charlies Boulder had a great time on low limit tables.

Hit a whole lot of other off strip places. My two favorite continue to be Gold Coast and South Point. I can always find good VP and $5 BJ with good rules at these two. I'm not considering the rooms because we stay in a condo.

I've thought a few times about going to the RRP but never have, maybe I'll make a point of it next trip. Speaking of smokey casinos, I've only been once to the Gold Coast but man was it bad. The hotel/casino seems pretty popular on here but I couldn't take the smoke...

Tom, just wondering, does RRP have their own "logo" chips with their casino name on it?

This is another place that I didn't think of visiting but if they have chips I will probably visit to pick some up.

Pretty easy but far. Take 15 south to 215 east then follow signs to Boulder on Hwy 93. RRP is on the left before Boulder.

Might be too late for a Skyline chip. It's now a Dolly's casino, and hotel is called something like Hoover Dam lodge.

I think I have that right.

That's good to hear. Every time I have been to AZ Charlies on Decatur, the smoke has been unbearable, so my wife refuses to stay there any longer than it takes to make a beeline to the Sourdough restaurant. I have enjoyed the incredibly cheap breakfast special but the last time I went there it was just too greasy.

I really like Arizona Charlies on Boulder. We always start our Vegas visit at Sam's (we like off strip...) and make sure to visit AC's for a few hours of $5 pai gow poker!

One of the best values among Vegas buffets that I stumbled upon was the lunch at AC Decatur.
