Looking about the current options for finding a treadmill in Downtown for an upcoming trip. A while back did the 24 hr fitness thing on the other side of the tracks near MSS. I also used the Dwntn Grand Fitness center as the door was not locked and easy to get to. Anyone else have any spots they use?

Golden Nugget has a workout room with treadmills. They charge a fee to use it.

The Plaza has a "fitness" center consisting of a few treadmills and some free weights and a small universal machine.

The Cabana suites also has a "fitness" center.

Both are available for hotel guests but if you aren't a guest then 24 hr fitness is probably a good place to go.

So how was the 24 fitness downtown? Any problems? Is parking available? Our 24 hr fitness in our area charges $1 for us to park in their lot. Guess I'm on the move a lot so I don't get to work out when I'm on vacation.

Being totally serious here, I just briskly walk up and down the Freemont Street experience a few times. It gets the blood pumping and I get to people watch a bit

I wonder if this extends to guests of the Golden Gate (where I usually stay)

Me too, only with a 12oz weight. Once the 12oz weight is gone I get another one and stay hydrated while I exercise. Larger weights are also available.

For some reason, the weights in Vegas are so much more fun that the ones that I normally use when i walk!

I receive quarterly emails from el Cortez. When I stay DT,I book one night at the cabana suites mid week just to use the fitness ctr
and room shower. It`s a decent place to get your workout on and it`s empty most of the time. The offer comes with a cheap rate,no resort
fee,and $15 food credit. The front desk has fresh fruit and there is security patrolling the joint. You gotta earn all that beer and buffets!

Put on some short shorts, a smile and run up and down Fremont. You can probably make some great tips as well as get a workout
