I didn't know Aliante golf course is now owned bt the City of North LV

    I was reading another article about the dispute home owners on Silverstone GC are having with the owners since they closed down Silverstone. That's the course we lived on so those articles catch my attention. Anyway, in the comments it mentioned that the City of North Las Vegas now owns and operates Aliante Golf Course.

    As with all things golf, you are correct. I just went to their web site and it is Troon.

    Not always. I for instance don't drink the Bali Hai and Wynn GC Kool-Aid.

    It will be interesting to see if this is a long-term arrangement. Troon runs a good, tight ship, with high service and course know-how, but it comes at a cost, and some municipalities can't or won't hang with it. North Las Vegas isn't Indian Wells.
