    2 Questions:

    1) Is anybody actually ahead when adding up all of Vegas gambling history since the first visit ?

    2) Does anybody have a higher max single win night than their max single loss night?

Just so that we know if it can be done at all ..

I am def. down overall and have a higher single loss night than win.

Not specifically Vegas (mostly Laughlin and SoCal casinos), but since I started keeping accurate records late in 2012 I am up almost $2400 overall over the course of 350 hours of play.

My biggest winning day is much bigger than my biggest loss. My biggest one-day losses have been around $500, but that is extremely rare.

    1) Definitely not ahead.

    2) I think my biggest daily win is slightly more than my biggest loss. Neither are above/below $250 though.

    1. Ahead lifetime in Las Vegas: No. Although I have come very close (within $100) a couple of times, I've never had a winning trip. However there are a few places (Tropicana, Excalibur, Binions and Monte Carlo) where I can say I am up lifetime at that specific property.

    2. Have had single night wins greater than worst single night loss: Yes, quite a few times... I don't think on any of our trips we didn't have at least one or two of these. On this I would note that we set up daily gambling budgets for our trips and I think anybody that does that will have a similar response to this question. Yes, we have had bad gambling days and days where it just seems like we can't win no matter what, but on those days we just end up going through our budget faster and then when its out its out... we don't go hit up the ATM for more money or start digging in to the next days budget trying to chase after losses. To that end, what is our "worst" day will never really be that bad - our "worst" day will usually be the size of our daily gambling budget, maybe a little more if its been topped up from wins on previous days.

    1.) Yes

2.) Yes. The most I lost in one night was $1,000. I was down $5k in total for 2015, but I hit a progressive at my local 3 weeks ago for $126k on a $5 max bet. So now I'm up fortunately.

I've never even had a winning trip to Vegas, although I have come close.

I'm too lazy to find the best Video Poker pay tables. I like the Strip. I stay 10 days.

Sooner or later, I may hit a Big one, but I won't hold my breath!

Until then, overall, Vegas is more fun and cheaper than taking the grandkids to Disney! With the losses.

I like the 2nd part of your answer, I am certainly guilty of ignoring daily limits

    Yes and Yes.

I'm a winning poker player who, expect in rare occasions, stays away from pit games. Sometimes I play video poker at bars, but drink comps make that an alright deal.

    1. Straight up win on total gambling I am down unless you count comps. Even on a losing trip the comps usually will put me in the black and on a winning trip they are a nice bonus.
I have a lifetime win in the sportsbook and have been betting more sports the last few years.

    2. When I was serious about blackjack I had a daily budget of $500. Lost that on occasion. My largest daily blackjack win was about $2200.

    1. No, but not by much...a few hundred or so down over the last 35 years... perhaps as much as $1000 down overall. Add in comp values and I am definitely up.
    2. Yes. Multiple times I've won more than my worse loss ($1500).

    Yes and no.

Definitely down over the long run which is expected. Except Poker, I'm good enough to stay on top though my stats put me at roughly minimum wage so it ain't no job.

Ive had several winning nights around $2k but i dont recall ever dropping that much in a night. Maybe $1k tops and only in Vegas.

Winning can be done on any given day but dont expect that to hold up over time. It jusy doesnt work that way.

Yes thanks to my amazing year this year I'm now legitimately ahead lifetime across all gambling activities.

But no my single biggest night loss is slightly larger than my biggest win night.

But my single trip biggest win is higher than my single trip biggest loss.
