Watched the pilot last night. It's been billed as this generations ER. It was pretty fast paced. I couldn't understand a lot of the dialog but that's probably just me. It happens a lot. Certain pitches of women's voices I do not get at all. Of course, it will take time for the characters to flesh out. Anybody else watch it?
Nope. I live in a medical drama every day...I never watch shows like this. Post-apocalyptic aliens for me!
I watch this stuff for the character development, story lines, acting skills and sheer drama. Topic doesn't really matter. Anything from House Of Cards to Sons Of Anarchy.
I had it on while doing something else. Didn't think I'd like it but was drawn in. I'll probably watch again. For medical drama..... It's still St. Elsewhere.
Breeze - I'd diagnose you as having a "sub-hematoma". Every medical show ( past + present ) has had this diagnosis,in the script ! It's a "bruise" - in layman's terms. oi-vay !
Subdural Hematoma! It's in a lot of cop show, too. Dude, I'm still trying to get over Dr. Green's death.
Code Black is on the DVR list of shows my bride and I need to catch up on. She is especially eager to see the show because she's a nurse. This weekend my naughty night nurse and I will get the kids tucked in, open up a bottle, dim the lights, turn on Code Black, and then the real magic will happen... We'll both fall asleep on the couch!
