Bayoubengal's quest for gold - live

I'm all checked into my flight, got a B boarding group on southwest but we stop in San Antonio where I'll get to change seats and hopefully get to the front of the plane. Between the gf and I we have 9 drink tickets so being sober will be a challenge. Haha. The credit line is set and ready to go at Cosmo. Going to get a little cash at the bank tomorrow to get me started, we shall see how it goes.

A few checklist items this week

1. eat breakfast at du pars
2. cycle a bunch of money through video poker at the d
3. meet with the lsu alumni vegas chapter for the watch party saturday
4. watch the cowboys beat the saints so that the gf owes me a steak dinner
5. get the roughly 5k points i need to get back to gold status at cosmo
6. go to Counting Crows concert Saturday night at the BLVD Pool at Cosmo

We can meet for some drinks if not before the show then at the show. I'll be coming for, the lsu alumni event at Monte Carlo but I don't expect the game to be close so we may head back early.

sounds good BayouBengal but i'm not going to bring the Pleepleus costume. Too hot and that is just too much to lug around. Wow a -45 point Line on LSU vs Eastern Michigan so I would agree that it does not look like it will be a close game.

Crows are awesome live fella....just saw them in Halifax at the end of May....Great show!

They even had custom beer cozies made for their trip to the east cost of Canada...Think MOOSE!

 

Good luck! I have always wanted to do a pool concert but I always seem to miss them by a week. Go get the gold!

They're fun. I saw Cage The Elephant at the BLVD Pool back in May. It was an amazing show and the pool converted nicely to a music venue. I was kind of surprised.

Just waiting on the GF to get here so we can head to the airport. Probably doesn't hurt to go to the airport a little early because rush hour traffic in Houston can be a beast. I'd rather be early and grab a beer than be rushing. VIVA LAS VEGAS LADIES AND GENTS!!!!!
