MLife offers on 70k tier credits

I have been with Caesars properties for years, but just had my first stay at any mlife property. Stayed 3 nights at Delano (nice rooms-very comfy). I had no play in 2015 before this trip, but earned about 70,000 tier credits on this last trip. Too bad I will be only 5k short of Gold, but I didn't know, and I don't want to chase the tier score. Anyway, I played on 2 days of the trip (very late like midnight check in on day 1, and 7am checkout on last day). I understand that my play would be spread out over 4 days even though I only played on 2, but any idea what sort of offers would usually be generated from that level of play? Play was about 3 hours per day of blackjack and a lot of video poker, too. Thanks, just curious.

 

Well it depends on whether all 70k TCs were earned through gaming or if you had hotel spend on there as well. Assuming it was all gaming, you'll probably get 3 night offers with some F&B and/or FP thrown in. I'd guess somewhere around $100-200 worth total. However, if you paid for your rooms and charged anything to your room while you were there, it could be significantly lower. Just $500 in hotel charges would bring your TCs earned from gaming down to 57500.

 

It all depends on where the majority of your play was. If at Luxor or Excalibur, a much better offer than if Bellagio or Aria. Others may disagree with that statement, but that is based on my experience last year.

I made Platinum but continued to only get "good" offers from the two casinos where I played the most. I got the regular corporate offers from everywhere else. The exception was where the casino marketing department actually got off their asses and worked to find me and make me an offer.

Well that will help since you played it all at one place. Even though you gather up tier credits, and corporate offers for each season, you will get much better direct offers if you focus all of your play at one of their casinos. With that said if you were playing slots VS Video poker or table games you would have gotten stronger offers since slots have a higher hold and in turn more theo for the house. You will be dinging over 4 days, which cuts your actual play in half. Mandalay is always looking for players to fill that barn at the far end of the strip so i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt send you a few nights free and maybe $100 in free play to boot as a feeler offer since you werent on their radar before. Being off season you might bet something even more.

 

I agree with Dailun's 2nd statement, also from my own experience. The 2 mlife properties I play most at (Mirage, Bellagio ) give me great offers, while I give some other properties play, I only get generic corporate offers, which are ok (room, resort, F&B), but nothing like the other 2. Guess I should take a corporate offer from time to time to increase offer size, but hard to give up the sure things and familiarity.

I do believe you will get some decent offers directly, and always check your corporate offers online as well, and with just a little more play, you'll have plenty of offers to choose from. Good luck ,

 

I stayed at MB last year. I made Pearl with only 27k tier credits. My offers were 3 nights at MB or 2 at Delano. With $100 RC and $50 FP.

 

My experience is similar as noted above, but I wanted to point out that in addition, you will usually see better offers in the winter than in the spring/summer (my november offer last year was 3 nights any time, $150 fp at the mirage, when previously for summer I was seeing just 2 nights during the week and $50 freeplay). It also takes a couple of months before they start kicking the offers out to you.

 

I was under the assumption that mid-level slot players received better offers than mid-level table players (same bankroll). I know that mlife offers, are not an exact science.

Is there a more accurate way of calculating future offers (such as tier credits)?

 

I barely made Pearl last year and my offers were two nights Sun-Thurs at the MGM which is were I play along with Bellagio. On our trip in May we ventured into NY/NY to visit Hershey World and to play on SteveD's Walking Dead machine. We ended up staying the afternoon and playing there again later in the week. I now get offers of 1 free night with a 2 night minimum stay along with a small freeplay and food credit from them.

For table games you can calculate theo at 33 TC per dollar theo. VP earns 10 TC per $10 coin in. Let's assume even split of TC earned between blackjack and VP.

BJ 35000 tc = $1060 theo
VP 35000 tc = $35000 coin in. Assume 2% hold = $700 theo

$1760 theo x 35% comp = $616 comp dollar, 200 per day

With that play I received 3 nights MGM plus 100 resort credit and 2 tickets

 

Cool. Nice info. Being so close to Gold, I am tempted to go rack up another 5,000 tier points to get to the 75,000 needed for Gold, but I think I'll just stick it out as a Pearl and not lower my ADT racking up 5k points. I will see what kind of offers I get. Like I said, this was my first time ever staying with any MLife property, so we'll see.

 

Have you received any offers? I stayed at Bellagio from aug 27-30 and too played the exact same as you. I haven't received any offers, not even reduced rates.

 

First off... it takes some time for offers to show up. Their "cycle" seems to be long and dated.

Next... Bellagio and Aria are their "top end" properties, so offers are tighter.

 

Yes, with the exact same amount bet, a slot player will get more. Why? The house hold/margin/take is higher on slots per dollar wagered.

Accurate way to calculate future offers? Not a chance. The EXACT same play will generate different offers at different times. All tied to the current cycle/swing/mood/policy of the marketing and other mgmt. One day they may be driving players with offers. The next day, they might decide not to "entice" as much.

And of course, there are other factors such as number of times you have visited, average play for last visit, average play for last xx number of visits, type of play and of course, the distance from the moon to the sun.

 

That part, with science, you can exactly know it.

 

Been a month, still no offers. I didn't expect them yet, though. I would think maybe quarterly or something. We will see, and I will let everyone know what comes in, if anything, for earning those 70k tier points in a 3 night stay.
