No longer a handpay virgin

    Was at my local Harrahs on Saturday with my fiance. I started out betting 80 cents a spin on Bejeweled.. worked it up to 1.60, 2.40, 3.20 and finally 4.00 a spin. I hit the bonus and went into the free spins bonus which awards the progressives if you get the meters filled.. Well I managed to win 3/4 of the progressives in the bonus, hand pay total of 2900 bucks..

    Then I went on and was playing the new Bull Mystery game at 100 credits on a 5 cent machine, so 5 bucks a spin. Hit the bonus with like 16 spins, so I picked the super bonus with the multipliers on it, got an almost full screen of the trophies and an 18x multiplier that paid 36000 credits on nickles, so another 1800 hand pay..

    Amazing to go from no handpays to 2 in 5 hours..

    Oh and to add to my joy that night, we found out were expecting a baby!

    I'm still waiting for my first Las Vegas handpay (the dream!)

    I've had one handpay in my life, it was at a local casino where I won $1000 on a Cleopatra machine. I was down $900 on the week when I won it, so it was quite relieving.

    Maybe in January the Vegas dream will finally come true! 11 (my trip number) is my lucky number.
