VooDoo Lounge Still Comped With Rio Stay ?

Back in the day if hou stayed at the Rio you received a comp pass to get in to the VooDoo Lounge. I never went in but probably would this time if it's still a comp.

Anyone know ?

PS.....so bummed about the sky show being sacked....that was a fun spectacle.

I remember going about 7 or 8 years ago. Got an open bar package for around $100. Definitely got my money's worth. Haha.

Went to Voodoo Tuesday night after the Penn & Teller show. Great view. Didn't feel nearly cool enough to be there - probably because I wasn't drunk. But the other posters are right, there is a free admission for 4 coupon in the CET coupon book when you check in.

 

Does anyone know if you can eat at the bar at voodoo steak?

 

I think I've been to VooDoo four times. It was great when we first started going, you could walk right up to the rail and get great views of the Strip, take photos. Then they moved all those bottle service couches in, and you can't get anywhere near the rail. Not sure if they are still there, but it kind of ruined the experience for us.

Does anybody know if the setup is still like that? It's pretty cool to be up there, as long as the music is to your taste. Last time I was there, it wasn't. So I was thinking maybe I was too old for it, but I guess based on the above posts I should reconsider it??
