I usually eat at the hotel I stay, and only use food/drink credit (or resort credit, whatever they call it).

My wife is so much of a picky eater, we usually only hit the buffets. They give her plenty of options to choose from. This time we've got 2-1s at Bellagio, Aria and GVR.

JeJas - I don't want to hijack this thread, but . . . there's a whole new world outside your hotel front door. I can't imagine not seeing the sights (including other hotels/casinos) on each trip. We probably average 4 different places a day on our 10 - 14 day trips. (Yes, some of them are repeats.)

    I understand your point.
I only eat at the hotel I stay, but I still visit the other places, all over the city as a matter of fact.
In the morning I eat breakfast then going out and later coming back in the evening to eat dinner.

I don't know. I've fallen out of love with strip dining and I can't think of anything new that's opened that I have to try. But places that are still open that I really liked are Mon Ami Gabi, Payard's Patisserie and the Bellagio buffet. Most of the other things I've like have been replaced with damn chain restaurants or pretentious burger joints.

I try to make sure that I eat at a few restaurants every summer on my trips, although I didn't make it back to Cut or Sushi Samba last trip.

    Strip

    Cut @ Palazzo
    Sushi Samba @ Palazzo
    Gordon Ramsay Steak @ Paris

    Off Strip

    Andiamo @ The D
    Vic & Anthony's @ Golden Nugget
    Le Thai @ Fremont Street
    Hugo's Cellar @ Four Queens

I'll normally get to a couple other places on my trip, but those are ones that I will try to make it to at least once during my 2-3 weeks.

I think this is the way everyone should do the Vegas dining scene. So many wonderful places to dine from fine dining to casual. Trying different establishments will keep the Vegas trips always fresh, interesting and exciting.

We could quite happily bounce back and forth between V/P and Wynncore and never eat anywhere else (and often do!) Between Society Cafe (closing - sob!), Sinatra, Allegro, Zoozacrackers, The Country Club, SW Steak, Lakeside Grill, Grimaldi's, Table 10, Public House, Delmonico, Bouchon, Grand Lux, Aquaknox, Yardbird, CUT, I(heart)burgers, Terrace Cafe, Tao, Lavo, Dal Toro, Morels, Wynn buffet, and the various Italian joints along the Grand Canal, the only reason to eat off-site is the fact that Rollin Smoke is a couple of blocks away.

We do different places. There are still so many that we haven't tried that are on our "list". Then you all keep posting wonderful places and the list just gets longer.
