What was your biggest bet on one hand ever, where and what were you playing, how many people were at the table, how did the dealer seem? Do share the story behind it, the outcome and the feeling after the win/loss.

For me, I have been in Vegas only once. I had two equal bets, the first I was playing roulette, After watching my gf lose a lot on roulette, I pulled out 3 black chips to try to save the day, lost 300 immediately on black. Went to the craps table had 100$ on the pass and 100$ on the odds, and 100$ on a place bet, all hit, this was the last bet of a 300$ buyin, and colored up to 1,000$ immediately after, hence my avatar.

Cold faced dealer at Aria for the roulette, could care less, didn't say anything. At the craps table me and the boxman were in sync, he kept looking at me and knew that I was walking after a good streak and took my over 40 green chips and colored me right up, felt damn good laying all of those out in the center of the table, just tossed em out there in a big bunch.

Not a big fish here, but definitely looking to increase my bets next round.

Most ever bet on one hand/event?
In craps... once had $48-$48-$40-$40 on the 6-8-5-9, along with a $10 line & $20 odds on a point-4... so, $206. I got scared after a couple of hits, so I took it all down, except for $12 each on the 6-8.
In blackjack... playing at the Mirage about 15 years ago - started with green & ended up playing blacks for awhile...highest single bet - $400 ($200 bet double-downed). Lost that hand & immediately went back to green chips.
Slot machine... once played a $5 machine, bet max ($15).
Vidoe Poker... $1 machine, bet max ($5)
    3-Card Poker... $25 per spot ($75).
    UTH... $20 each on Ante/Blind & $10 on Trips..$80 on Play...($130).
    Largest single-event win? $25 hard-8...it hits, and I leave $75 out there. It hit again & I colored-up. ($900 win).

Obviously, compared to many here, I am a very low-roller... but everyone bets their own comfort-zone.
These days, that's $10 blackjack and $5 UTH & Craps... with my largest bet only ever reaching a max of $100 total (blackjack & UTH) and $103 total in craps, after presses - ($24-$24-$20-$20, $5 line with $10 odds on a 4 or 10).

For me it was Las Vegas Club around year 2000 or so. I was playing a $5 blackjack table starting betting $15 or $20 a hand i think. I hit a crazy good run and started going up and up with the winning streak. I won a $600 hand and lost my last hand of the run at $750. I won about $1500 in 45 minutes total of sitting at the table and was shaking with excitement. My friends had all gone to eat lunch at the GN so I was alone. I then headed to the Horseshoe where they advertised 100x odds craps. It was a $1 table but was only 5x odds unless your line bet was $5 or more so I started betting $5 pass with $100 odds and played pass line with 2 come bets. 15 minutes later all $1500 was gone. So then I go outside and just sit on the curb still basically shaking when all my friends approach after eating lunch. They ask why I am sitting outside on the curb and I just shook my head. lol good times.

My biggest hand was in 2010 at Mirage. Started playing Quarter blackjack. I was on a good streak and had a $350 hand which I of course had to double. The double did not go so well, but that was a very exciting $700 hand to say the least. To me those are the reasons I love going to Vegas, for the excitement and possibilities that it brings.

My largest single wager ever was on sports, not a hand. As far as hands go, I have bet $20,000 multiple times. Won some, lost some. The most I have ever had on the felt at one time was $35k, but I think of that as multiple hands because it was the result of BJ hand with multiple splits and double downs. Won that hand. It was at Aria almost two years ago. One of the more exciting moments I have had in a casino

I think dealers are pretty immune to what some think are big bets, because they see them all the time. I'm a total low-roller, but I'm sure I've had $500 riding on the craps table at times, with a hot shooter and pressing up the numbers. Years ago I made a $500 bet on a college basketball game and won it, so I guess that's my "hand."

    If poker counts, about $400.

If just table games, probably around $100-$150 at Caesars Windsor back when I would tend to informally martingale against a losing streak. It didn't go particularly well and has long since been abandoned.

Small bets when compared to some of our high rollers here, but fairly good sized for me.

Earlier this year during the superbowl was playing at Caesars and was playing a $50 BJ table. Started out good and bets were between $100 - $400 which is fairly good sized for me.

The next morning I had a $500 chip..tossed that on a empty BJ table and won that too.

For craps, I was playing the dark side with about $250 on the table after odds. Had a pretty good streak going there too.

I normally feel safe in the $25-$50 range, but if I'm on a streak I like to push it quite a bit.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. I change my answer to about $3000. Cocky kid who had made a pile on a $1-2 game before I sat down. Watched him play for about 30 minutes, then took all his money when he tried to bluff in the wrong spot.

My biggest bets are always in craps during a hot roller and pressing up my bets - and I kick myself everytime for never bringing everything back down to 1 unit after hitting several numbers.

A few years ago I had a great tip on a horse race and won $800 went to an empty blackjack table and bet the table max which was $500,it had to approved by the pit boss first if I could play max on just one hand. Won the hand walked away and played slots and won a few hundred. A good day all around starting out with just a hundred dollar stake!

My blackjack system is to steadily press up my bets when a win streak shows. Beginning at a $25 min. while playing at the MGM Grand, I caught a win streak on a shoe game that took me all the way to a $1500 bet before I lost. Colored up and walked away with a $4500 win. Went to the sports book and bet the Rockets over the Mavericks for $400. At the half, the over/under for the 2nd half was only 90. This was back when McGrady and Yao Ming were at their best so I could not resist. Bet $400 on the over. Won both bets which made a tidy sum of $5300 for the day. I won't forget that day.

$1,600 at the end of the one and only time I tried martingaling at baccarat. I started at $100 and had lost the previous 4 hands in a row, so $3,100 loss in 5 hands. That was the end of that.

$600 at craps - $100 on the line, $500 behind, while chasing after bad sessions. Won twice, lost once.

$750 on Place 6 at craps. Started as a $6 bet that was pressed 12 times. Made $1400 on that roll.

My wife has me beat. $1500 on Place 6 at craps. Also pressed 12 times but she started at $12.

Mine is pretty small compared to you guys. I've doubled or split on a $100 hand of blackjack a few times, making my biggest bet $200 (I have a feeling I've split then doubled on the same hand, making my bet $300, but I was probably drunk and can't remember for sure). On slots I've done $45 a spin a few times back on a 9 line, 5x $1 slot.

$300 each place on the 6 and 8 and $50 pass line with full 5x odds $250 in AC on 9 so $900 was the most ever at one time.
