Staying at Mirage in three weeks. Wondering if the Center Bar is about to open? Anybody who has been there recently - how's the floor construction? Noticeable? Noisy? Non existent?

    Thanks!

Walked through last week. Not finished. I did not notice any noise. Granted it could have been a lunch break so maybe someone staying there would be better to comment.

We stayed there about a month ago. The funny part was that we had the same concerns as you and about changed hotels. You will notice it when you first walk in, but not so much after that. This area was sort of wasted space previously, except for the high limit room. The moved high limit room is very nice and was very active when we were there (lots of people collecting with signers). All in all, it should not affect your experience much if at all. Have fun.

I was there three weeks ago. We noticed the construction but it wasn't much of a distraction. The only thing that seemed odd was the craps tables seemed to be disconnected from the other table games area (caveat, there was probably another bank of craps tables somewhere). I floated between two tables for a bit and since the tables were cold and they seem oddly disjointed they never drew a lot of foot traffic. The slots area was nice, if non descript.

Well all I can say is they must have "tightened" the slots to pay for it ... haven't seen a single hand pay in the three days I've been here!

I was there in July, in the middle of the night, I saw a guy win the $5.00 Double Top Dollar Progressive for 238k...lost my shirt that trip.

hope the very next hand pay is yours...

I was thinking of booking there in early December but concerned about the construction. Will it be done by then? I can't find any dates or information.
