    My Trip Report

150,008 Tier Credits with an hour to spare. Now to work on my host to expedite my 7* membership.

Arrived at 1:30AM, due to unforeseen circumstances, put my bags in the room (I got a very nice suite) and went straight to work.

Tried to keep it under $1/TC, which I did.

So, making 7* cost me under $20K. Now I start the calculation as to how much I get back.

Whew, I'm glad this is done. Now I can relax a little.

    Hopefully, better luck tomorrow.

Oh yeah, hoping to hit a big one tomorrow, then I can come to LV next weekend for the crap shoot. . . .

Congrats on your new 7 Star status! Now you can start putting it to use.....cruise, 7 stars retreat, don't forget the 5 x $100 dinner vouchers.

Let's see some hand pays today !

Like Dutch said.....the more the merrier next weekend. Although I did read last night that someone said they were #24 on the list.
Wow....the alternate list is at least 10 deep.

This is actually about the 33rd gambling day to make it.

Most of the journey is detailed in this post

    https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?123801-DaiLun-s-report-on-making-7*-How-I-did-it-(a-very-long-post)&highlight=

From this point forward I will be detailing what I gained ($$$ wise) from Seven Stars and whether I consider it worth pursuing in 2016.

Now . . .breakfast at Atlantis and off to the driving range . . . .

You're a fine one to talk. 6-12 hours at the craps table every day on a gambling trip????

If they keep the same thing going, then in 2 years, I'll do ten 5000 TC days, to optimize bonus's.
    $50k coin-in on $ 9/6 Job 5-play ($25 a whack) shouldn't take too long.
    Dai,
Have you kept a log on how much profit/loss you've incurred/made. (including room comps, food comps, and misc comps)

No, but I'm starting now after I made the level. I'm in a suite at harrahs Reno for 2 nights, my host wrote me a comp for dinner, so no RCs used for dining.

About halfway into 2016, I'll have some good numbers and post my results.

OK, 2nd day is over. Made 1000TC day, hit a non W2-G ($1192) jackpot that allowed me to do it, so my ADT won't be hurt too badly.

    6_wicked_Ladies.jpg

6 Wicked Ladies - still waiting to join the 9 Wicked Ladies club . . .

So, had breakfast at Atlantis, won on a Keno ticket, hit a small jackpot on the way out to bring me back to $200 down for the day.

Spent most of the day running errands. Watch battery died, so I got that fixed, my son needed binder rings for a project at school.

Went to the driving range at Grand Sierra. It's at altitude, so I wasn't paying attention to distance, just club/ball contact. My body has undergone many changes since the last time I swung a club, and I was trying to be conscious of that.

Got back to Harrahs and my host came over to greet me. I showed him my new TC total and he promptly sent an email to his boss indicating the status change.

    OK, so here's what my host "told" me . . . .

The hotel and the casino (at his site) are not linked. As long as you do not swipe your card during the last day, you will not incur a gambling day. I will verify this on this trip, because I will as TR how many days they had me down for. This will help me a lot because in LV on my last day, I leave before I would even be able to play. (7AM flight) I know that if you stay one night, you will be credited for at least one gambling day.

My host gave me a comp for the Steakhouse. I used it all up and then some, but since I'm taking home the better part of a 24 oz. bone-in ribeye, I think that we're even.

I didn't use the in room wireless, so there should be no charges against the room.

    Again, time to relax . . . . .

    8:45PM and no desire to gamble . . .

P.S. My host is awesome. He got my 7* approved and told me I could go get my cards . . . .

OK, so I said I was done playing . . . I lied sort of.

Couldn't sleep, so I decided to get up and go over to "the Big Three". I would play ONLY if I hadn't seen the machine before . . .

So, put in a hundred, and after awhile I told myself that I should get a Player's Club card, so I went to the promo booth to get one,

    "Member since 1991" it said.

So, I sat down to a Wonder 4 variation that I had only seen once at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, and sad down. I was playing 2 Buffalo Dexuxe and 2 Wicked Winnings 2.

I was playing $10.00 a pull when all of a sudden, both Buffalo machines hit the bonus.

I selected 9 free games with X2 or X5 as the bonus.

The first bonus round was very dull, however, on the second bonus round, I ended up with 5 Buffalos and 3 wilds, 2X, 5X and 5X.

    A handpay!!!!!.

    wonder4.jpg

I regret that I don't take pictures while the bonus games are playing, but this is the "after" picture.

So, after that, I went straight back to Harrahs, got some food, and went back to the room . . .

All tolled, I believe that I'm even for the trip, minus gas. (including two 1000 TC days), So subtract $1500 from the total to make 7*. Not enough to go to the craps shoot next week (I'm on call and can't go anyway.)

    1:40AM, now I think I can sleep.

By my count you're up most of a 24 oz steak. So call the trip a win!

Too bad you can't make next week. Gonna be fun

    Epilogue: The trip home

I went to breakfast at Atlantis. I was down $600 but hit for $450 before I left, down $150

So, I stopped by Red Hawk in Placerville to say Hi! to my old host there, except she hadn't arrived and it was 4PM before she would arrive.

So, I "played", using the same criteria as last night at Eldorado.

No handpays, but after putting in about $500, I hit $200, $500 and $500, so I made back the money I lost at Atlantis, and then some. I left my host a "tip" telling her I was sorry I missed her but had a "good" trip.

So, I was actually up this trip. Not too bad . . now time to "relax"
