    My Trip Report

That might be the longest title ever....

Long time lurker, occasional poster leaving in 5 hours from Edmonton to Vegas.

    THE FACTS

Bought the flights in April thinking this would be a nice first trip away together since baby #2 came last year. First trip away from kidlets for the missus. Wednesday to Saturday trip - unless jackpot won, then we'll stay for Mayweather fight.

We've earned this. We bought a home to demo and took possession 3 weeks ago. I have not been able to feel my hands since thanks to tendinitis or carpal tunnel, but the home is now completely gutted. Had an emergency roof replacement this past weekend as well as asbestos issues, and the home we're in now hasn't sold yet. So....we need a couple of days rest.

Our 10th trip together. I have been a few more times on conferences.

3 nights comped at Ballys with $40 fp and entry into slot tourney. May or may not do it. Pre check in has us in strip facing jubilee king suite.

Hosed for car rental - how can an SUV cost the same as an economy car? So we have an SUV booked.

Low rollers. ...ish. Because of short time frame might just spend an hour a day on quarter and dollar slots rather than 4 or 5 on pennies.

Using 2 myvegas rewards - MGM breakfast buffet and GVR cabana and $175 food/bev credit.

Hope you enjoy your well deserved trip. As long as you have a rental car, and not knowing your golf abilities, i'd recommend Rhodes Ranch for a fairly wide open, non condo lined course. It's about a 15 minute drive from the south strip area. They have a sister course a half hour to the east, called Tuscany. If you don't mind more expensive courses, then the TPC courses in Summerlin are good. I'd check on course conditions right now regardless of where you play. I'm not sure of overseeding schedules.

Thanks everyone. On the way to the airport now. Wife and I are both....tired. I am a really bad flyer so I take ativan and gravol for the nausea. Makes it a beauty flight. I have it timed perfect so that I usually wake up as we are decending. I literally was working until 5 mins before we left so typing this is making me more excited.

So any posts in the next 3 hours may be of questionable content and grammar.....[emoji6]

......and then there's always these lovely chairs. They look terrible, but are super comfy![IMG]

For the record, there us a guy on my flight with one of the worst wigs I have ever seen. My goal before we take off is to discreetly take a pic to share. It's a beaut!

Good luck. Working tomorrow before our flight out also. I will catch up on your trip report after our trip. Hit that jackpot. But save a little for us.

Is it so empty because everyone is flying out of Calgary? Fancy new looking yeg....flew out of there 3 years ago with a 1 way ticket and haven't been back since. Win big and often, enjoy your trip!

It's about 330 am here now. I am gong to bed at ballys. Wife has been up already for awhile. Remember how I said I wanted a chance at a jackpot? It happened.

Will explain more in the morning.
