Just like everybody else I like to drink in Vegas. My problem I have the bladder of a 5 year old. A group wants to do the happy hour on the High Roller. My BIG question is do they have a bathroom on these things? If not I don't think I would make it .

There are no bathrooms in the individual cabins. Once you're in, it goes for about 30 minutes.

Wonder if this has caused a mess with the drunks going in, this was my main concern as well. I can hold it, but to be drunk and stuck in one of these things then all the sudden feel the need...What do you do

I would bet there have been "accidents" in the cabins on many occasions. Maybe they have a clean up crew on stand by for when the inevitable occurs.

For what it is worth, there are bathrooms near the bar not far from where you get on the pod. So you can go just before you get on it.

It is only a half hour. I was worried about it too but just go RIGHT before you get on the ride (there are bathrooms right outside), then go when you get off the ride. you'll be too distracted to wanna go anyway. but worst case scenario, stand in a corner and pee in a cup. your friends will get a laugh and have a story to tell!

Yeah, the 30 minutes it takes for the wheel to make one revolution goes by fast. It felt more like 15 or 20 minutes because the ride is so fascinating. I've done it 3 times with visitors to LV and it never gets old.

I ilke that this called for a 3d pie chart. Two dimensions is not enough to properly visualize it.

You could start having your drink perhaps when you're near the top of the ride.

Hate to piggy back on this thread but I also had a question for those high roller vets... the happy hour drinking is before you enter or while on? I'm confused as when I read the faq it says you can get drinks from bar to purchase and take with you but doesn't say anything about where you get the "free" happy hour drinks that you pay extra for.

The Happy Hour cabins have bars inside of them serving drinks. You can purchase drinks right before you get on (you can't bring them from outside the ride) and drink them while riding, but if you pay to ride in a Happy Hour cabin, they serve drinks while you are on the ride -- in case you can't carry enough alcohol on with you. ;)

Do they have good alcohol or is it the equivalent of what you get in a casino outside the HL room?

    From High Roller webpage:
Q: CAN I DRINK INSIDE THE WHEEL?
A: Yes. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase in the wheel house. You may bring those on the ride, but no outside beverages are allowed. If renting out a pod for a private event, drinks can be made while on the ride.

I personally have never tried to bring a drink onto the High Roller, but according to the rules, you're not "supposed" to be able to. I guess they don't enforce it.
