Royal Hunting in the Desert: 09/02- 09/12

Sweet Ti and I are headed out tomorrow. First of all, we both have dumbphones, so up to date updates won't happen. BUT I did score an Ipod Touchy Feely, and downloaded the Tapytalk. Hopefully I can figure out how to post our mega-screenshots whenever I can scarf up on some free WiFi. Another couple from VA are gonna be in town too- his Dad has lived in the Palimino area west of DT for 45 years. Can't wait to hear his tales of yore.
We will be hanging at whatever bar at Orleans that Hank Bonefish the drink slinger is working. Usually either the Crawdad or the Wally Gator. Also be spending the mid day shift with Ziggy the Polish barkeep at Terrible's.....I mean Silver Sevens. Scored some MeVegas treats too. Zarkana Friday @ 7pm. 3 nights at Hidden Valley Ranch Mon-Thur. along with a Cabana and $175 F&B on Tuesday. All for watching the spinning reels.... And we are gonna be at Tim's soiree on Sat. at MSS. Come on by and say "Hey Now!" or sent me a PM and I'll eventually respond.... Stay tuned!

 

I am very interested in hearing how the MV cabana deal works at GVR as I am going to try one next week under the same terms. Details on F&B would be much appreciated -- selection, types of food available and time restrictions. Umbrella drinks for sure! Unfortunately, we won't have a room there as they are unavailable at this late date. I guess 9/16 is the last day to use the reward. Is poolside service stopping for the season then?

we finally made it in around midnight, The only thunderstorm in the entire state of VA was right over RIC for 3 hours.
I'll figure out Tapytalk eventually....

That being said, I did not use it for a live TR. I felt like I didn't have enough downtime to post, and I was pretty much right. If I was solo, then yeah maybe I'd have the time.

I am proving your point. Been here since Wed midnight and now just getting back to it. Ipod takes great pics but Bill and Steve don't play well together. And I'm too busy to look for WiFi. Having a blast, went to see Bob Reubin yesterday. 4300 s.f. mansion at the corner of Campbell and Palomino . Great stories.

Yesterday was one for the books. Still hunting, got diverted by DDD- went on a Spin Poker Dream Card 8/5 BP .25 tear. Video to follow on actual TR. Got my first 4OAK Deuces on .25 DBDW.
Stopped back by the Hi There Limit for one last DDD. Total for the day: 10148 points. BR up 2k.
