    My Trip Report

So, I'm going to start writing this now; as I have an hour to kill on the train in to work.
For starters, this is going to be my LAST gambling trip for 365 days, also, we haven't been to Vegas since Thanksgiving 2014.
A few plans we have set in stone for this trip:
1.) Neon Boneyard (Saturday at 10am)
    2.) VMB get-together (Saturday at 7pm @ MSS)
3.) Hoover Dam FULL Tour (Sunday at 10am)
    4.) Pinball Museum (Sunday sometime)
    5.) Penn & Teller (Sunday at 9pm @ Rio)

We're obviously staying at Sam's Town; but we'll be spending a lot of time on the strip and downtown, on Saturday.
I'm only allotting myself $600 for gambling, because the only time I'm going to do it is on Saturday...I always go to Vegas with intentions on SEEING stuff, but never make it.
Some other things I'd LIKE to do this trip, are:
    See Counts Customs
Ride Rollercoasters (NyNy, and Circus circus)
Visit casinos I have never been to (Aliante Station, Fiesta(s))

I finally got into The NOW and bought a Samsung Galaxy Note4, so I'll be able to keep this thread fresh with HD pics/vids.

    Can't wait!

Cool. Let us know how Hoover Dam goes - might be interested in doing that. Sometime. Eventually. Maybe.

My retirement plan hinges around winning the lotto. Think about how much you could increase your home search target after flopping a royal on a $5 VP machine:poke:

Haha, yeah; I was going to say, that get'together is THIS weekend. Lol

In any case, only a few more hours at work, then an hour long train ride, hour long drive home; and I'm officially headed to VEGAS!
Can't wait to gamble downtown on Saturday, with the rest of you degenerates, HAAHAA!
Earlier on saturday, I'll probably be around PHo with Aaron5.
We have tentative plans for Baccahnal on Saturday morning (after our 10am appointment at Neon Boneyard)
Hopefully we get a decent rental car. (Prius would be nice!) The last trip to Vegas, we got a damn Ford Edge...that fucker got 21mpg!! For $41 (picking up toda, returning Monday night) it's unbeatable.

The big hits from your wedding trip should give you a good start toward a down payment.

Where do you think the money to buy the Elantra came from? (Not to mention living the past few months jobless)

I didn't know you'd purchased an Elantra or that you were out of work. I can barely keep track of my own life and family lol, let alone remember all the posts here. I thought Id read you got a new job in IT so just have been thinking of someone else. Perhaps a new down payment win this trip.

I got a new IT job (back in April of 2014) and was let go RIGHT after that wedding trip (literally, came back on monday; let go on Wednesday), and was out of work until June 2015, where I did a contract gig for 2 months for $6000; NOW I work at a Software company in SFO.

Whew! 5pm and I'm on train for an hour, then 1-1.5 hours of commute traffic; THEN the 8 hour VEGAS drive!
    Time to begin the coke!

BART not that packed; and the ride in this morning was only an hour. I can only hope it's the same for the ride home!

    Yup, it does.
Pay $200k for a house, plus about $75k in interest, then refi, house depreciates, sounds like a good investment to me!
