Hey all. When I'm out in Vegas in 2 weeks(woot) I'm planning on playing enough to get a decent room offer at Excalibur. I might be going out there for a friends birthday, and she wants to stay there.

Here's my question. I'll also probably play at MGM/Aria/NYNY. Does that all go into one big "pool" for comps? Do they normally just offer rooms at the place you played the most? And, if so, could I move the offer to a different place? i.e. they offer me a room at Aria could I move it over to Excalibur? Never had to worry about any of this before since I've just stayed at The D, or Golden Gate downtown normally.

You are only going to get direct property offers from places you played at. There are 2 other possibilities though. If you get an M Life Corporate offer, that is available at all properties. Also, if your play is sufficient, you may be able to get a host to match an offer at one of these other properties. I stayed at NY NY a few years ago, and had a most match an offer I had from the Mirage.

You don't say when the friend's birthday is, but offers typically take months to start coming based on play from a recent trip.

Hey, I'm right there with ya. But, she wants to stay there to "feel like a princess". I'm still working on her to stay somewhere else.

Back to your question, you get corporate offers based on total play good at all Mlife resorts. They are sent out each quarter or season. They are for every resort in the system. You choose what hotel you want to stay at. Your Aria/Bellagio offers will be less then the Excalibur/Luxor offers. You also might get property specific ones that may or may not be better then the corporate ones. It does that's while for the offers to show up after your first trip. I would just call the VIP services number a few weeks after your trip and see what they can do for you. How much do you plan to play per day????

I was thinking of playing for a few hours a day at about $100/hand. Or there abouts

They will treat you really nice at Excalibur with that play. Just a heads up though there is no high limit room at Excalibur. They might have a $25 table. Also check out a Turret rooms in tower 2. They aren't bad and they have a hot tub in the round part. It was cool staying in the turret of the castle.

Yeah I figured I'd get good offers there with that play. But, most of my play this trip will be at the CET properties.

At the very least, you can always try for back-end comps at the Excalibur. We had planned on going out of town a few years ago, both ended up sick and didn't want a 4 hour drive so ended up staying at the Excalibur. It wasn't that bad. Especially if you get the more recently renovated rooms. We had everything comped on the back-end.

If you pay for your room upfront or come in on a corporate offer, for example the quarterly BUZZ offer, then your play goes into a "pool". Your play at other Mlife casinos will be taken into account when you go to the host office at the end of the stay and ask for back-end comps.
