I find them to burn up those 10 cent TITOs.

Usually those 5-6 reel 1 cent machines surrounding a Harley or some car will let you put 1 penny on 1 line.

Yeah the older ones. Most strip casinos are trying to make those disappear but there is a limit to how many classic games they can move out. .

I would go with the "why" as well.

As to those small tito's. When I burn out for the night and well under a $1 - I give it someone that is still working the machines. My little bit of nice guy/karma to soothe my wounds.

I would also go with the "why".

Yes. Mandalay Bay casino. Right by the House of Blues. I can't remember the name of the game.

Saw two elderly people playing them today. They put a dollar in 3 machines.

I don't understand why MB would keep them set like that???

It has to cost more in drinks and electricity!!

Those older penny slots have the worst pay back of any of the machines. Mandalay Bay seems to have more of the mid 90's-early 00's slots than most casinos.

I think most casinos have them. I've sat next to players that will gamble a penny a spin. I once sat next to a guy that won $5 plaiying a penny a spin. I'm thinking....... damn, what if he had played 50 cents on that spin?

My husband and I always pick a machine area in which to meet at the end of the night since I play table games and he plays slots. I hate slots. If I get there first, I always play a penny a spin while waiting for him. I like to hear the music while the 'wheel' goes around. Once the screen filled up almost entirely with wild card symbols. Yeah, I was bummed.

A long, long time ago, I did this at Luxor for a while after I managed to blow through just about my entire bankroll for the day (something like $100, back when I was in college) in about 10 minutes playing craps. It worked, at least! I don't remember seeing machines like that in ages, though, although I also haven't been looking.

At Paris near one of the craps tables there is one. It's where a friend and his GF would get drinks while I was shooting dice. So glad they weren't the friends that'd hover over your shoulder not gambling. They'd come and check in on me to see how I was doing occasionally and give a heads up if there were heading to walk around. For a while I think they were "up" more than I was due to the stinging losses at dice.

I saw a small bank of 1 cent, 1 line capable betting systems in Caesar's of all places. Brain is kind of fuzzy on where it was. I had a low budget friend who spent a bunch of time on it though lol

Yes, all of the older IGT and WMS machines will.

All over town. Try the various Stations, anywhere downtown, and the Boyd places.

My daughter has a friend who's father would do this. He would put a twenty in a penny machine and play 1 line for a penny. He just wanted beers. When he gets bored with the machine he cashes out and goes to another one. He claims the twenty lasts him all night.

For me, it seems you would never trigger a bonus playing this way. When I have a TITO with only change on it I leave it on the machine so someone can take it and add it to his stake when he plays those machines.

You can trigger lots of bonuses betting like that. Scatters are in play no matter how many lines you bet. You just won't win anything in the bonus.
