Brought home a TITO from Bellagio I should have cashed out. The back says it expires after 6 months and that I cannot mail it for payment. Surely someone else has done this but I couldnt find a thread. Any thoughts on how much difficulty I will encounter trying to cash it next time I get out there - maybe next spring... Thanks

IMO, it all depends on how much it is and how "late" you are.

I have cashed in late TITOs, but they were all less than $100.

They are not obligated to cash them in after the expiration date.

Call them and talk to a host.
If no luck hopefully you can find someone you know who's going before then and will do it for a "taste". Worst comes to worst try to to get someone on this board you can trust or think you can trust!
I'd be happy to do it in October for the aforementioned "taste". Others here have an even longer posting history and should be reliable. But you never know that's for sure. I would be very wary of anyone "generously" offering to do it for free.
Best bet of course is to see if a host will give you an extension or handle it by mail if possible. Even if they give it to you in free play instead of cash I'd take that over trusting someone outside of family...and too often inside of family.:ssst:

Note that it is thermal paper so you are going to want to keep it in a cool dark place otherwise it could fade or turn black.

If you are going to wait until your next trip when you get there you will have to go to the main cage and ask them to cash it - it won't be accepted by a TITO machine or a slot machine.

Over the years there have been a few people reporting doing this, bringing a TITO home, and probably more people have had success in getting the casino to cash it, but there are still lots of people reporting not being able to.

I brought home a $150 downtown tito once but I knew a lady who worked downtown. I mailed it to her and she mailed me back the $100 and I let her keep the $50 for her trouble.

Glad you were able to get your TITO back. It's good you didn't give up. I just read your post about taking a TITO home with you. It's understandable that Vegas is exciting and fun but you need to be a bit more careful.

I brought home a TITO once. It was for $16 and some change. I just wrote it off but I still mentally kick myself when I think about it.

Thanks all. Its only 20 bucks. I think I did a hit and run on the bar... I pulled it out in Aria and didn't feel like trekking all the way back to Bellagio with all my gear. Aria will not cash a Bellagio TITO! I had some time to kill before my flight and was making my way closer to the airport one casino at a time.

This was my first thought as well.

Or, if you really can't skip town, then try asking someone you know/trust on here. But, that kind of stinks that you can't mail it to them.

You should have brought home a Tito, like in Tito Gomez.

Gf and I made a joke about that tonight. Basically saying we'll be back in within 6 months. Last full day tomorrow! [emoji26]

But this makes me love my home state of Missouri. No expiration. It's illegal to do so.

From what I have read from wizard of odds, he's never been refused. If the cashier refuses, ask for a manager. It's more paperwork for them, but they should be able to cash it.
