    Hi All,
Just booked Paris for September 20-25. I haven't been to Vegas in 3 years (too long). I was wondering anything new at Paris? Also is the Neon Museum worth it. Any advice would be great.

Nothing new at Paris, but you can see the new failure next door at Bally's, the Grand Bazaar shops.

Within the last 3 years, there are 3 new restaurants........Martorano's, Yong Kang Street and Hexx(pretty much the same as Sugar Factory)

I was there in July. The Paris has remodeled their lobby bar, and some of their rooms.

Thanks all. I have heard good things about the Neon Museum and thought that would be a great stop. Just have missed being there.

Agree with everything so far. Their slot floor is so similar that you will wonder if you stumbled into a time machine.

Was just there early August, and with the exception of the spectacular new Le Central Bar and renamed Sugar Factory, nothing has changed. In fact my reply to their usual emailed request for a review, basically said we love the casino for its openness and ease of getting one's bearings, but the rooms are getting very tired and in desperate need of renovation. We stay at Paris often, mainly for its location, but wish they paid some attention to their rooms.

They do have an awesome location, especially for a moderately priced hotel.

The new Le Central Bar is really nice. Wish the room were the same. Looks like it might be the last to have anything done to rooms. I haven't read anything about a remodel other then the rumor at least 5 years ago now.

Paris is my wifes fave. Celebrating our 1st anniversary there Oct 9-14th. The casino is considerably more mellow than others near it (Bally. Planet Hollywood). More Paigow tables than Ballys ( I like paigow), and the drink service is better than most. Sportsbook and restaurants are easy to get to and on my last 2 trips it appears that the music groups at Le Caberet are similar to those that used to perform at the Indigo lounge at Ballys (My former fave night club on the strip). A lot of old school music (I'm 58). In all they have 6/7 different laces to sit and enjoy a cocktail and chat.

The buffet is not what it used to be but part of that is because others have really upgraded theirs (i.e. Bacchanal at Ceasars, Wicked Spoon at Cosmo..etc.). However they have over 10 food options which rivals any casino/hotel on the strip. Mon ami gabi is a favortie of everyone I know who come to Vegas ( well maybe not everyone but definitly my lil sis, dbuehler and my wife).

The spa/pool are nothing special but they are servicable if you want to get wet (pool) or workout and get a manicure. the rooms have been talked about already and tyheres npothing that I could add. For me I need a room that takes care of all the "S's" I can Sleep comfortably there, know that my items are Safe in the room, take a Shower with a shower head that is not below my neck, and if the wife is feeling real happy then...(nevermind, the other "S's" you can fill in).

I also like the Paris for its mellower vibe, and increased my credit line there last year.
As for the fourth S, some degenerates here with dirty minds might say Sex, but my vote is taking a [emoji90]

Paris is our favorite too. DH loves the tables and we both like it for it's location and restaurants.

Last time we stayed there we were in a premiere corner room, (P Room), I think. Very quiet and nicely done. Good maid service and generally very nice and updated. Used Paris as a base as I like to play in Bally's and Cromwell. It's all CET properties. Don't get along with the machines in Paris. As previous posters have added the buffet is not as good as it was. we prefer Planet Hollywood for buffet meals. I think you'll enjoy the property though. Good luck on your stay.

One of the best Diamond Lounges is at Paris. Le Burger Brasserie has really top notch burgers.

The Paris is my wife's fave as well. I stayed in May, and I have a comped room there next week (along w/ a Tower Suite @ The Mirage). The Things I like at Paris:

    1) To go Crepes on the walkway to Ballys - Grab a Crepe, and sit next door JJ's Boulangerie
    2) Yong Kang Street - I ate there in May. Noodles were great, plus a roving Dim Sum Cart. Good Quick service as well
    3) Le Central Bar - I like the new bar a lot. Plus, it 4OAK on the 50cent VP machine there. It's a good place to people watch, and it's always busy
    4) Pool Villas - For $200, you get an air conditioned room plus private area away for Lounge Chairs. Plus, you can order room service from there.
    5) Mon Ami Gabi - I ate there everyday for Breakfast last trip out. Good for early AM 'walk of shame' sightings from the night before. Plus, very good food.
    6) Gordon Ramsey Steak - While the atmosphere has gotten a little more casual since it's opening, The Beef Wellington and their appetizers are amazing. It's a very worthwhile experience.

Hey, they do usually swap out those 5-6 machines near the front entrance. :evillaugh

You don't like a flea market on the strip?
